Looking for LED cup coasters. Has anyone else had luck with finding good ones? I want to match my interior LED lighting. 2021 Full Size Outer Banks Bronco.

We got some cheapos for my daughter's car off Amazon... they didn't hold up well. Soaked up too much water. I'm kind of disappointed that the bronco doesn't have lighted cupholders like the Explorer, or that the interior floor lighting is not color changeable. Even my 2010 Taurus has color-changing footwell and door lighting!

Don't get why Mustang's have LED cup holders and not Broncos

I've done them myself on previous cars. I'll get a strip of led lights from superbrightleds.com, pull the cup holders from the center console, wrap the strip of LEDs around the cup holders, mark where the LEDs land, drill in 1/4" holes for the LEDs, then glue the strip in with clear PVC caulk. Run the LEDs power to a discrete switch I mount to the right of the shifter, then run power from the switch to the fuse block. Can do the exact same with interior LEDs.

I’m a dark cockpit guy. I hate any nonessential lights inside a vehicle , it makes it harder to see outside and ruins your night vision. Especially foot well lights. I know where my feet are. My son loves leds everywhere. I don’t get it. Too many years in aviation I guess.

I like a darker dash, but I like “low” led footwell and cup holder and door lights (ambient). Nothing real bright. Especially with the top off… bright lights might just attract bugs.

What colour is the interior ambient lighting?
Heck, my '11 Fiesta had awesome ambient... And every colour to match all the exterior paint colours available.

I’m with you the darker the better. And if I have light I like it to red.
