New IAG folding tailgate table with molle panel

I likely, I have the ford Molle panel with bags but they would stay in place when dropped down with this thing.

I'm trying to justify the need for a folding tailgate table. Not sure how often I'd really use it. But I guess like they say better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Haha my wife asked so, then you wasted money on the one you already have, and what are you gonna use a table for lol… I said making sammiches and she said we always make them before we leave lol. They are sold out so that will slow me down for sure because I doubt i‘ll remember about them by the time they are in stock and I’m not giving them my email address.

I think this is a handsome unit. The fact that it does not require drilling is both encouraging and intriguing. I'd like to see how anchoring a table to a door is accomplished without having to create new anchor points. Are there existing (read: reliable) anchor points on the gate already?

Either way, I think having a small table on demand is well worth every penny. Very handy, in fact. How many times have we wished we had more flat surfaces to lay things upon?

There are slots in the tailgate that you can install... uhhh... flat nut things... that kinda act like drywall anchors and are similar to T-bolts, but I have no idea what they're called.

I imagine it could hold ~75 pounds or so when the vehicle is still and maybe 30 pounds when moving. Definitely not much more than that.

I’m glad I didn’t purchase the first tailgate table to hit the market. There are definitely some interesting alternatives.

I bought one a couple of months ago a little less expensive. I love the molle grid. Seems great quality with 50lb weight capacity folded down and 25lbs up. Can't wait to get a bronco to put it on. See link below:

That's why I went with the Ford one, it too has the molles. Very useful.

I have the Ford Molle Panel with bags too, I then removed the Panel and added the Ford tailgate table which has a bottom like this. My molle bags along with camping hatchet, lanten ect are attached to the bottom of the Ford table. Side note the 3m velcro from the molle Panel is stoll there amd eliminates all rattling.

The Ford one has the same bottom and despite saying it needs drilling I installed mine with zero drilling and it is a champ.
