I'm really happy with the simple upgrade on my 2D OBX Bronco. I purchased the GPCA Hardtop Quick Release Anchors on Amazon $47. All I did was remove the M8 bolts one at a time and replaced them with the T-style anchor bolt. I suggest thinking about how the tie down ring will sit and orient it so it isn't in the way or flops against the side of the vehicle body (I hate noises when I am driving.)
Now when I want to remove the hardtop...no tools.
