If you off road it may not be the way to go. I guess you can always take it off if you off road. Someone here will know.
Sometimes it is a good idea to let air out of your spare tire while off roading. That way if you hit a rock with it there is some give and perhaps you don't damage your rear door.
Their product is good quality. I purchased one of their covers for my Badlands. The material is a denim mix. I had one of these on my two Jeeps and they lasted for 15 years on my TJ and 14 years on my JK. A friend bought my TJ and it is still on the Jeep and in good shape.
If you off road it may not be the way to go. I guess you can always take it off if you off road. Someone here will know.
