Ford Bronco Tube Door Installation...: Video; posted on Ford Authority (Yes, compatible with BRAPTOR)

I am not sure if any has caught this but in the article the journalist states "It’s worth noting that tube doors are not offered at all on the high-performance 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor.". That statement and subsequent link in that statement are incorrect. The original Ford Authority article By Brett Foote on March 10, 2022 8:24 am could have been correct for that period in time, however the updated article By Alexandra Purcell September 10, 2022 4:00 pm could have used more research before posting.

I am aware that one is not able to order the tube doors when completing a build for a Bronco Raptor on the Ford site, however the doors are clearly stated as being compatible with Bronco Raptor on the Ford Performance site and the this is the link: https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-19008-BTD4 notice the last features bullet item. The moral of the story... always, always, always fact check.

Does anyone know if tube doors are a constraint item? I realize the Bronco will be delivered with regular doors installed but would an order, which includes tube doors, not be scheduled for production until the tube doors are available?

I am not sure if they are "constrained" item, however they may delay the shipment of the vehicle as I am thinking that they probably have the prep the vehicle to include those doors before it is shipped. It would be an added accessory. Your dealer might know more about how that works with @Ford.

Thanks. I tried the dealer route but got the response, "We can't tell you whether adding or removing an item will delay or expedite your order." Helpful, huh? Oh well, I'll keep the tube doors as part of my order for now. @CBWAR1, thanks again for your response.

My order has tube doors on it. Badsquatch w tow, 2.7, 2 door ,lux yes every constrained option.
Built just waiting shipment

Ordered mine with Tube Doors as accessory. When I picked up, they gave me the doors as accessory item. I put on the driver side, no problem. Tried to put on the passenger side, and they wouldn't adjust - tried the provided shims, etc. The doors might have been damaged in shipping, since one door was poking through the ripped carton. Also, the upper bolt didn't thread correctly on the tube door. Only threaded a quarter way or so. Called my dealer and they're going to check it out. Driving around with one door off and one tube door is going to look - o_O I don't think it delayed order.

I ordered the tube doors as an accessory from Ford. The tube doors showed up about a month after my Bronco did, so I don't believe ordering them delayed me getting my Bronco. I will say they are pretty heavy duty and much heavier then I thought they would be. Super fun driving around with them on especially with the roof removed.
