Check out this new product coming from KR Off-Road.

If you're a fisherman looking for a place to mount your fishing poles, look no further! Designed here on Long Island, NY (surf fishing capital of the world) this mounting system provides a simple and elegant solution to a common problem. That problem... Where do you mount your fishing poles on the Bronco?

Utilizing the existing mounting points on the front of the truck our stainless steel bracket system provides a secure and stable system to support 1 or 2 rods (per side). Each holder is designed to safely and securely hold your fishing pole without damaging it. The built in angle of the mounting system allows you to transport long fishing rods without the fear of snagging an over-pass or electrical line. The rods sit at an angle hovering over the roof line.

Simply bolt on the system, slide in your fishing pole and head to your favorite fishing spot.

The single kit allows you to install the fishing rod holder on either the driver side or passenger side. You have the option to install the system on the outside or inside as well. Keep in mind that installation on the inside of the factory limb risers will prohibit the hood from opening with the system installed.

The double kit includes two (2) rod holders (along with 2 brackets) and installs on either the driver side or passenger side. The two rod holders mount back to back. This will prohibit the hood from opening with the system installed (you'll need to unbolt it if you need to open the hood). You may also opt to split the two holders and have 1 on the driver side and 1 on the passenger side as well. We've provided sufficient hardware in the kit if you want to separate the two.

Don't fish, but have to say that is a pretty slick solution for carrying some rods on the Bronco.

I like it. It looks like it will even work with the Everglades snorkel. Gotta put this on my list.

With the snorkel you could just drive in and spear them.

There is a rod holder (your standard plastic rod holder is included). I use a bungee cord to ensure the rod doesn't fly out

Brining this thread back from the dead since I just ordered the double set. Anyone using these have a good solution to prevent theft? Wondering if a small cable lock or something would work. My trust in humanity is lacking unfortunately. Can’t wait to try them out on my fishing trip next weekend.

Kind of difficult without going crazy with a locking cable. The idea is to just transport them to your fishing spot, not store them for long periods of time unattended.

I meant more for just travel time. Stopping at a gas station or something. Don’t want some donkey grabbing one of my poles. Probably just use a bungee like you suggested before

Has any one had issues with these? Just moved to Florida and I’m debating them.

Used mine this weekend and love it. Zero issues. Used a small bungee to secure the poles since I was doing a three hour road trip. Poles stayed put and made transporting them easy. Installation is super quick and easy, so if you want to take them off you can do so with just a screwdriver

So let me guess. You throw out your line, put the rods in the holders, wait for the fish to get hooked, drive like heck until the fish is on shore. Get fish, put in cooler....repeat process??

I installed a pair and they are awesome. They do exactly what they should, easy to install and look cool and get a lot of comments. I have a pair of 11’ surf rods / reels and have zero concerns driving around with them. Secure for local driving and will use bungee’s to secure for highway driving to Cape Cod vacation this weekend. I understand the security question. I am sure I can come up with a solution if needed. Two comments to note.
1) conventional reel / rod combo is less secure as the reel doesn’t slide into the rod holder groove (again bungee cord would help and I would use always with this configuration.
2) if you opt for the double rod holder you cannot open the hood. You need to remove the entire unit to open the hood. If you want to carry two rods it is probably better to buy 2.
Super easy to use, fair price, well constructed, fast delivery and you even get a surprise bonus with your order. Highly recommend.

If you buy the double, they send you enough hardware to split them. That’s what I did. Just fyi.
