Hi all - Thinking about ways to carry extra fuel.
1. Roof rack / side rack
2. Rotopax spare tire carrier
3. Bumper/hitch mount?
4. Titan Fuel Tank - Trail Trekker - only filling to 5-6 gallons.

What other options are there for the raptor?

Appreciate the advice!

To the best of my knowledge, you identified the current options. I have the Rock Slide Engineering set up for the spare tire with a pair of 2 gal RotoPax that I have used on my Jeeps and Broncos and it works well.

Try reaching out to these guys - they are the de facto extended range tank suppliers. Perhaps they have something in the works…

Wow never saw the Titan Fuel Tank before. Something like that would have been cool on my old CJ-5 that I used mostly for off-roading, not sure I put one on a daily driver. Curious if that is illegal in any states???

I went with Pakrax and Rotopax. Rotopax was a pain to get in California but managed to get them shipped from Summit Racing. These are the bigger 3.5 gal. Haven't had them off road yet but appear pretty functional.

Also if you go Rotopax check out the stuff at https://ai13.us/collections/everything-pax. Haven't used it in the field yet but this stuff is awesome. Made in the US. It's not cheap but it's beautiful. I bought everything I could to go with my Rotopax containers. I couldn't get the link to paste properly, sorry.

My favorite is a bumper hitch set up. Add the pin/swivel to the hitch it works perfect. Can easily lower it to open the rear door, also add mount for a shovel, chain saw, etc.

I made a decision and ordered the TrailRax with Pak Rax and two 3 gallon RotoPax.
I will continue to look for the right rear bumper with a swing out to carry metal cans.

Next major purchase will be the Roam 270 awning and rooftop case.

Thanks again for the advice!
Happy wheelin’
