Wondering if the 2.7 Turbos are going to sound like the F150 with the highish pitch exhaust note. I would like to give it a nice deeper throatier sound. Love the sound of the Black Widow Race Venom mufflers. Put one my old 3rd Gen 4Runner. Anyone have any clue If any company is working on exhaust parts yet?

Cannot remember what time they rev the engine in this video. I believe it is the 2.7L also.

It is at 3:48 in the video...sounds like the 2018 Jeep Wrangler I had.

I'm sure it will sound like the F150. There are a ton on exhausts for the 2.7 I've seen on a few sites that I've checked out they already have Bronco sections set up with an "exhaust" section. I'm getting the 2.3 and I've been researching Ranger exhausts for the sound. I'm thinking I'm going with an MBRP cat back.

The f150 just sounds so fictitious

Yea I have it in my F150. Great motor as far as speed and torque. Cold start by the pipe doesn't sound too bad but otherwise it's just "meh". I want to get an exhaust for that too.

I went with Borla on my Mustang, best sound ever. I also took the cats out and converted to 3" exhaust from the cat deletes to the cat backs (which also deleted the resonators), headers were stock though.

I'll start with them and see if they have any options.

Sound is so subjective but I've never heard a good sounding Ecoboost until I heard the exhaust on the new Raptor. They did some type of fancy equal length exhaust system that really sounds good to me. Like I said, it's all subjective.

yes, saw that. Interesting. I would like to hear in person, I wondered how exaggerated the commercial was.

You make a great point, it could have been "enhanced" for the commercial.

I think with equal length Downpipe and a good cat back they will sound good. Definitely changing out the blow off valve, I can’t stand the obnoxious sound they make. They sound like a pressure relief valve on a air compressor lol most likely going with a Tial Q

Aren’t the turbos acting as a sound suppressors. Do these have silencers like the old diesel I know all the Cummins folks that roll coal remove their silencer rings to get that 18 wheeler sound.

The turbo does indeed suppress engine noise themselves. In the subaru world it’s a popular thing to install muffler deletes to bring out a louder sound. There is nothing in the way of a screen in the turbo to remove.

100% the audio in the commercial was NOT the actual exhaust. That’s how audio post-production works!

The MY22 Raptor had a nice sound. Wonder if the 2.7 will sound any better with the same setup? If so, we need to ask the aftermarket world to create an equal length exhaust system like Ford did with the New Raptor.

Equal length headers would be great.

The eco boosts don’t have the weed wacker turbo whistle sound like suabrus do with a catless Downpipes. The most fictitious sounding part is the blow off valve sounding like someone purging a air tank.

You know both 3.5 and 2.7 are eco boosts setup and have you seen the MY22 Raptor video?
All I know is that the 2.7 has a water cooled exhaust and the 3.5 does not, which explain why the towing on the 2.7 has less power lost when weight add on the F150.

If Ford gives that exhaust or similar to the Bronco I’ll definitely keep it. I love when manufactures put the active valves in from the factory. Nice quite daily driving and then nice and throaty when you step on it
