I installed a rough country nudge bar with offroad lights and am curious to see what others' experience has been on the driver assist features.

1. Front Parking Sensors - They start to beep when I'm driving 5MPH or less, easy fix to disable and I expected interference before I installed it. Of the 4 sensors on the front bumper has anyone tried disabling the 2 that are obstructed and then leaving the outside ones on?
2. Adaptive Cruise Control - Still works but have only tested once
3. Front Camera - Still works but you do see the nudge bar in the view
4. Auto engine shutoff at stop - This is interesting, the engine no longer shuts off and I'll see the icon that its turned off when I stop - I'm not a huge fan of the auto engine shutoff to begin with so I'm okay with this.

Thanks,

Dilip

I have the same. The camera obstruction drove me nuts. I relocated the camera on the bar using bar light brackets. The camera bracket is plastic so careful not to over torque. The inner sensors I relocated to the bar tucked in by the inner bar lights. The use of these is all or none best I can tell, the outer sensors can stay as they are. The ACC driver's assist sensor was obstructed and didn't work, I relocated it below with the protective cover (some adaption) and put a Bronco viynl on it. With it being lower it is at times more sensitive particularly approaching a stop at a bottom of a hill. The hardest (but doable) part was removing all the various plastic tabs and cloth like electrical tape holding the wiring to the inside of the grill. I removed the grill, removed the wiring tabs, when/if needed removed the cloth Iike tape around the wires when I needed some but not all of the wires to change direction. Re taped, Re-insuated all wires with plastic (like in engine bay ) then again with weather proof wire covering, routed as needed then reinstalled grill. I have the plastic bumper so the plastic bezel around the fog light with the hump could be removed by popping plastic tabs to run the proximity censors straight out to the bar (and reach) then it pops back in place. The proximity sensors are secured to the bar super OEM style by metal zip ties that I painted black to blend in. Lol. If you like I can message you the bar light brackets I got for the camera. FWIW RC claims this is 3" bar it is in fact a 2" bar so 1.8-2.1" brackets fit, the 2.8-3.1" are far too large. I learned this by trial and error. If you have any questions about grill removal and/or modification processes feel free to message me.
