I just got a 2024 Ford Bronco Heritage 2 door as my first car, and I am just reaching out to see if anyone knows some good body armor to prevent people from door dinging my car? I am also open to other suggestions as well.

Are you wanting body armor like a PPF? Or like putting rock sliders or nerf bars on to let them hit that instead?

I would like something like body armor, or something along those lines. A nerf bar would probably work as well, but I just need something that will stop a little kid from slamming their door into mine.

There is always that option, which I have been doing for a few weeks now, and is working quite well

Those steps you have will catch most of the doors and being on 35ā€ not many vehicles are tall enough to clear those steps. But if your area is anything like Texas every other vehicle is a jacked up truck and those guys can get you. I usually park on an end the park with my front tires turned full lock one way and I usually back in at an angle and the front tires usually keeps people from parking close. If they say in their lane. The only thing they will hit is the tire. But usually the doors are not that far back. Yes I have parking down to an art form. In 38 years of driving I have only gotten 2 door dings. Now people or deer running into me that is a different story.

That is something that I have never thought of. Unlike Texas, Virginia has the worst drivers ever, and they could care less about your car. But now that I look at it, the other cars would probably just hit my running board.

Running boards or rock sliders will prevent most door dings. And PPF will take care of almost all chips and dings

Hi Roccoord09,
I added the PPF, but I also added the side steps which seem to help prevent door dings. I think people see the metal side steps and decide not to throw their doors open. However, there always a risk someone might find a way to cause damage if they want to.
Good Luck,

I'm in 100% agreement here.
The ppf will really help keep er looking good after some off road excursion too
I love the heritage look. Congratulations
