I really like my ARB Summit bumper, but the install is a bit challenging. Okay, let's not sugar coat it -- it's a PITA.

You should understand what you're getting into before you commit.

The instructions from ARB are 30 pages and consist of 108 steps! Although I like the bumper, the instructions leave a bit to be desired.

You should find this vid helpful if you're considering or installing a Summit on a Bronco, or really any vehicle for that matter.

If you would, please give a like and subscribe at the channel. Thanks!

Good to know I wasn't the only one seeing the issues. But after all is said and done, I do really like this bumper. I'm curious if you installed a winch, what kind, and how did that go? Thanks for your comments, Ken.

That's a pretty beefy-looking bumper and an appropriate choice for the winch. πŸ˜‰

Liked and subscribed, sir. Thank you for taking the time to document your installation. It's always cool to see how to disassemble our Broncos; it gives you an understanding of how they're built and an appreciation for their engineering. A video recording is also helpful when it's time to reassemble them! Your written notes during the video were very helpful, and your verbal descriptions of the things you encountered were invaluable. Bravo!

When installing my fog and road lamps, I used TESA tape to wrap electrical wiring instead of electrical tape; it looks more like the original factory harness wrapping and it's easier to cut (tear).

TESA Tape

I'm looking forward to future videos. 😎
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Thanks for the kind words. And thanks for the tip on TESA tape. That's new info to me and I have it on my list for the next electrical project..

It is amazing how so many manufacturers will always gloss or skip over how difficult certain steps in the process of installation are. And it isn’t just ARB. It’s damn near all of them!

Ain't that the truth.
