Aftermarket bumpers-good or bad?

I hadn't seen this one yet. I like it, but wow they are pricey. Look really solid so bet they would hold up!

I had the DV8 OE Series front bumper and FS-15 series rear bumper installed on my Big Bend. I considered installing them myself, but with the wiring involved with the fogs and rear light pods, I thought it was beyond my skill level. Love how they turned out.

Are you considering a winch sometime in the future? That may make a difference as to which one you might choose. Some hold/hide the winch much better than others.

I was looking at winches last night and don't know if I would need it. I've used one a few times. I was reading reviews and most of the good ones were from people that hadn't used it, or they abused it then gave a bad review. The Warne had the least bad said about it.

Thanks. The front bumper weighs 59 lbs and the back weighs 76, so 135lbs less what ever the plastic bumpers weighed.

@Sdakotabronco I bought an LOD replacement bumper for a specific reason. I towed my Bronco BL Sas from Bama to Utah behind my RV. At the time (still may be this way) they were the only vendor I could find that had a combo winch bumper and had the connections for attaching the flat tow hardware to work with BlueOx. Easy to install, looks awesome and has exceeded my expectations. Hope this helps.

@Sdakotabronco I bought an LOD replacement bumper for a specific reason. I towed my Bronco BL Sas from Bama to Utah behind my RV. At the time (still may be this way) they were the only vendor I could find that had a combo winch bumper and had the connections for attaching the flat tow hardware to work with BlueOx. I went with a Rough Country bumper and installed it myself. It was pretty straight forward, including the wiring, which I connected to aux switch 6. This bumper also included a license plate relocation kit and light. Solid bumper!

I like the look, and nice that factory fog lights are compatible. Not working with the factory skid plate isn't great as mine has the steel plate. Did you have any issues with it?

No issue on the install. Fit like a glove.

Found a rear bumper I liked. Simple but functional. Just got it put on yesterday. I need to figure out a bracket for the license plate, and want to get some lights to fill the empty spaces. Havoc steel bender bumper.

I plan on buying the Havoc Steel bender front bumper to match the rear. I just need to decide if I want to get winch. I don't plan on off-roading alone, but it would be nice to have.

And, yes, it is super helpful. I've been following @ChompSticks list since almost the beginning, and used it to help me narrow my field, follow potential options, and in general just keep up-to-date.

On your winch, I would get one. You never know when the itch might hit you to go down that powerline trail that you just passed. 😎 There's threads debating which winch, but whatever you choose ensure your bumper is compatible with it. I personally would get a WARN 10 or 10-S (if compatible with your bumper).

Does anyone know if the ARB rear bumpers sold here on Bronco Nation are made in the USA? I would look it up myself...but I am in a location with terrible internet...yet somehow I still get the BN page to load. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.
