Here's what everyone has been waiting for. ADV has announced pricing for their hard top. Quite a bit more than I was hoping for myself.

This weeks information is exactly what you have been waiting for, that’s right, PRICING!

Starting retail prices for the following models are:

- One Piece Top: $5,250
- Modular Top: $5,750

Pre-orders will be accepted starting on February 28th at 4PM PST. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED ON OUR WEBSITE.

For all of those that are subscribed to our “Bronco Newsletter” list, they will get the order link an hour earlier before it’s live on our website.

We are sending out an email (to the “Bronco Newsletter” list) to collect an estimated amount of tops that will be pre-ordered to provide an accurate production timeline. That timeline will be announced on 2/28 for all customers that are interested in the hardtop.

Subscribe to our newsletter list for Bronco Hardtop information. All newsletter subscribers will be the first to know about new details. $5750??? Is anyone really going to pay this? How high can inflation go before the economy collapses?

Don't forget to add in shipping. That will probably be in the $500-$1000 range. And can't wait to see how many of these get damaged in shipping.

I'm considering 99ing my order and wait for the dual top option to come back.

People will pay for it. Just not me. And honestly, if they came in closer to $4k they would've been flying off the shelves.
Is what it is though. Looks like I keep rocking the soft top. Especially when the 2 piece is more expensive. I certainly don't want a 1 piece.

I was hoping for $4k, and woulda jumped at that price. Not sure I’m thrilled about $5750, maybe if that includes tax and shipping!

What worries me is that says "starting"....that may not even include wipers or paint

They are not offering a painted option. Just primer. So if you add the wiper, defroster, headliner plus freight and then send it off to paint when you get it you are probably pushing $8k.

Oh wow I was under the impression you could get black, white or primer. That's good to know Unfortunately at that price it is a bit too much for me

Black and white are textured and molded in color. Primer will be ready to paint.

For those who need some contex—

The Ford hard top, if you buy all the components separately, costs $10,200. Obviously if you buy everything separately its going to cost more, but that's what it costs. We don't know what the Ford hard top cost will be when they offer it as an accessory, but we can guess using part numbers used for the recent MIC 2.0 hard top replacement kits and the wonders that is Google (or DuckDuckGo in my case).
  • MIC Hard Top replacement kit - M2DZ-7850196-AB
  • RH quarter glass - M2DZ-7829700-A
  • LH quarter glass - M2DZ-7829701-A
  • Rear glass - M2DZ-7842006-A
Just to save you the searching... total cost comes out to be around $6000. And that doesn't include the labor to install the glass and the rear wiper components. So... based on what we know about Ford's hard top. This isn't a bad deal honestly. May not be a good deal, but it isn't outrageously high.

Jeep modular hard top sells for just under $3,000. Be for real! Stop the dump stuff.

That's a terrible idea, when do we start?

*blink* inflation? It's just greed, or as the capitalists like it call it, what the market will bear. It's the same reason that dealers are putting markups on Bronco ... because they can, and people will pay it.

I’m highly interested, but I also have a deposit down on an Ursa Minor.

The cost is more than an aftermarket Jeep Hard Top, but I also know the quality of this will probably surpass some of the aftermarket Jeep tops I’ve seen.

I have a soft top, waiting for the Gobi Rack (3 weeks away maybe).

There will be other options, but the price is fair for a new to market vehicle, and being the first ones out the gate.

The did it, first one to market, pay a premium for their development.

They will probably reduce price in a year if you want to wait.

Jeep = 1,000,000's of units on the road
Bronco = 55,000 produced and not all on the road

Let them produce them….others will build them for less. Also the cost of the option is not near that high.
