So what mudflaps to you use? Is there such thing as the best mudflap? Is there really a difference between $400 gatorbacks and $40 Amazon special?

I recently saw photos of Broncos on the trail with pieces of mud flaps hanging off their rigs. You get what you pay for. The $500 (per pair) Gatorbacks have separable mud flaps that can be removed and stowed for serious off-roading and rock crawling, then added back before hitting the road (and presumably airing up).

Yeah, $1K is a lot to pay for mud flaps, but it beats having to buy mud flaps over and over again! Unless something better comes along, I'm going to go with the Gatorbacks. The only decision now is to go with the "BRONCO" script or the bucking bronco logo on them.

I have such a tough time choking down 1k for mud flats, and it is not do to dollars. The are ripping us off so badly at that price, IMHO of course.

Mabett make a good mud flap. Can you break them? Yes, but they are tough to break. And the best part is that they are only 139.99 for the four.

The Mabett’s flaps also work with Sasquatch and factory running boards, so they will be my first effort.

I have the unbranded gator backs from Sharptruck. They are cheaper. I like them and they are quality.

I personally like my bockblokz. At $400 ish for the set of 4 is a good middle ground price, easily removable for hardcore trails and made in the USA. The utilitarian look of them has grown on me too. Just my $.02

I went with Rek Gen. Front and rear for less than $400. Better than I anticipated, very sturdy and easy to install.

Not to derail the mup flaps talk, but what kid of running boards are those?

First winter with the Bronco, and have been running Rokblokz all season, they’ve taken a beating and done well - in other words, I haven’t noticed or thought about my mud flaps (as it should be). They block most of the garbage on the doors, and I always hear rocks hitting them that could have otherwise hit the truck. I’ve read some posts of other having problems, but I think they from were earlier runs. This is one of the newer sets. I don’t particularly care for how they look, but in the winter everything looks like crap anyway. They’re coming off as soon as mud season starts and ends.

I have the Rokblokz and they have done amazing so far. I went off-roading this weekend with tons of mud, there was hardly any on my doors and there was no build up on the back fender flares like I've seen on others. We also went up a few rocky trails and didn't lose them. They are removable but I didn't think about that.

I have the IAG flaps, $80 for the front. They went on easy and come off with a couple of allen cap screws. They work great, IMO. MY23 BL SASFlap Far.jpg

I also have the RokBlokz and they seem to do well. Although I do have a stone chip in my passenger door even with the flaps. Question For those that also have these along with Sasquatch, do you have an issue with getting the back ones on without pulling the little clips inside the bumper in order to get the flaps back on? I did the quick release install or whatever you want to call it for installation but those back brackets are a pita to get the flaps onto. There isn’t a lot of room between the bracket and the bumper to slide them on the bracket without moving the bumper out of the way. Any other tricks I should know about? I plan on leaving them off if not! Sorry for those following behind me😞

I installed the 21offroad flaps. I think they're the same as Mabett and others. Solid hardware, a bit of a pain to install. But they work great.

😀 The running boards are Go Rhino RB20 (not the slim). Really easy to install and very sturdy. Highly recommend!

Everybody has a preference.... after a lot of soul searching, I went with the weathertechs primarily due to their reputation which is good. I have several sets of WT's and have ordered them for various individuals. they don't look bad (I have the Sasquatch edition) and they keep a lot of gunk off the sides of my Little Mule..... JMHO

That's what I ordered. My dealer is installing them as part of the PDI. I'll be picking her up in about 2 weeks.
