Anyone have any suggestions for backseat cup holders? I got the cloth seats without MOLLE. The kids no longer want to ride in my other car after getting the Bronco.

My boys use the door nets, but I have to think that someone will come out with a cupholder replacement for the nets themselves... seems like an easy switch(?)

This is a real simple fix, all you have to do is switch your order to a 2 Door. LOL (y)

There are various devices available to provide a cup holder in a location where cup holders are not available. Most of them attach to the door panel or the window (suction cups). There are also a number of systems that use velcro to attach to various fuzzy surfaces. And finally, if you can give up the center seat in the back there are devices available that sit on a seat that have cupholders.

I am mostly interested in something to go in the center seat. I've found a few products on Amazon. But wanted to see what experiences Bronco owners have had with different products to make a better informed decision. Some of the products I've found on Amazon don't even seem to have a means to secure it to the seat.

I'm afraid the netting wouldn't work that well with my 7 year old with a fountain drink cup.

Picked up my 4 door OBX Friday evening. Too late to switch. Plus the 2 door appears to have zero cargo space if I want to have the kids with me.

Depends on the type of seatbelt in the center seat. Most of the contractor-style ones use the lap seatbelt in the center of truck seats to hold it down. Not sure what the Bronco has.
If that's not there you could use a rope to tie it down. But for a 7-year-old, I wouldn't give them a fountain drink cup. Always have spare drink bottles in the rig and if you get fast food, dump the fountain drinks into the drink bottles.

backseat.JPGwe used this basket from Amazon. It has webbed cup holders in front, but mostly we just needed something between the two seats for the kids to put their happy meals. :)

Thinking on something like this. Out of the way of needs and leaves space in the middle seat for kids things.

We just have water bottles... no fountain drinks allowed in the Bronco ;)

I would suggest “chalk Bags”
They are small bags that are designed to hold chalk for rock climbing purposes.
-They come in a variety of colors,
-A draw cord at the top
-A sewn in loop for a carabiner.
-most have a moisture liner inside “generally to keep chalk dry” but would work the other way for cans/water bottles/tumblers sweating.
-somewhat affordable.
A couple of vendors I’ve used for rock climbing equipment,
REI & BlackDiamond There are many suppliers of Bouldering/Climbing equipment.
Clip to the back seat between the knees or a loop around the headrest post I suppose.
Just some food for thought.

So I tried an experiment using auto seat gap organizer from five below. Before I buy one of the more expensive ones with 2 cup holders off Amazon. See pictures. handled a kids drink no issues. also did not move one bit. But I think this is how I am going to handle the cup holder. Will need the twin cup one though as the back seat only has one gap that can do this. Pardon the mess not the easiest to keep a vehicle clean with two kids and Michigan winters.

Still works really well. I found a couple of double cup holder options on Amazon just haven't picked one up yet. But holds drinks great and doesn't move at all. The only thing I would say if you using a water bottle use the nets in the door. The bottle is a little thin for it and it wobbles around. Other than that I really recommend it

Well a follow-up to my previous post I finally picked one as more permanent solution (also to have it have 2 cup holders instead of just one). This is the one I selected:

Also I decided to take one for the group here to show how well it works. This is my 8 year old with a full cup of hot chocolate (yes I live dangerously) in the cup holder. It worked great.

I recommend this to anyone needing a rear seat cupholder solution. It also easily removes in the event you need the seat.

LOL, Yea I told her to set the cocoa down so I can take a picture. She wasn't thrilled with the request.
