Anyone purchase RCI Rocksliders?

Anyone else having a problem with RCI Offroad? I started modifying my 2024 Wildtrak with their rocksliders. They showed up poorly assembled and beat to heck because of the shoddy packaging job. I have emailed them twice 10 days ago with pictures and have heard nothing back.

There is a spot on the bottom side that didn't get powder coated and is already rusting. There is weld splatter all over. I get it happens but it could have been cleaned up before powder coating. There is some sort of trash inside the driver side panel that is rolling around making a rattling sound.

I think they use quality materials, they just threw it together without paying attention to details. And now they aren't responding to my inquiry.

Ouch. I'm not familiar with them specifically, but that's definitely not what you should be seeing on a professionally fabricated part.
I've got 16 years in steel fab & we'd never send a part out the door looking like that.
Definitely stay on them - I feel like they should swap you a non-damaged set or take those back & blast/re-powder coat them.

WOW - Sounds like RCI's having problems! Our WildTrak's experiences last winter adding their skid plates & rock sliders was totally different. RCI's Scott was very responsive, helpful on installation, HOSS 3.0 fitment, & other questions. Sliders & skids were well packed, robustly built & finished well - All good.

Suggest giving Scott a call at 970.797.3089.

I have the RCI rear shock skids and cross member skids. Zero issues. I hope it isn’t a trend with the quality

Yes, their packaging is definitely not up to par. I had issues in January with my parts breaking out of the box due to poor packaging. Scott said they are working to get the packaging issues resolved since they have had a lot of issues and complaints. It sounds like they don't have it figured out yet. I will say they took care of my issue quickly though so I'm surprised they haven't responded to you yet.

I live in Colorado and have almost all RCI’s offerings for skids/sliders and they have been great. They are a bit harder to get a hold of as it’s a smaller local company, but they always are great when I speak with them on any issue. Calling first thing in the morning has been my best way to get ahold of them. One package didn’t have the hardware and they overnighted it to me free of charge.

I will say that I did pickup for some items and delivery for others - knowing that I am about 40 miles away. The damage FedEx can do to the boxes in that 40 miles is impressive - so do take photos of the boxes damage as they work with FedEx for reimbursement.

I had their skid plates on my 2018 F-150 and now full skids and sliders on my 22 WT, no issues at all. The sliders took a beating a few weeks ago, and other than some decent scrapes, no damage to them or the Bronco. Definitely call, they always responded when had questions.

Well I finally got ahold of someone after my third attempt. Todd (I think) was very nice and apologetic. He rushed me a new set of rocksliders. Took about a week to receive them. The packaging was MUCH better and there wasn't any weld splatter. But the drivers side rail got a large dent/scrape in it during shipping. Very frustrating. I mounted the new passenger side and the original drivers side and just have to move forward. Like I said seem to be good quality materials and I would like to continue to use them for gear but I'm very leery of it now. Bummer.

It’s not just them I had issues with two sets of IAG full length steps.

I bought my wild track in the beginning of April and I purchased RCI rock sliders and skid plates and had no trouble at all with them.
