Is there anyone that sells aftermarket hard tops for the 4-door Broncos yet? Also, do the factory soft tops come with the brackets to convert to a hard top?? Any input appreciated!

The only one almost ready is pretty pricey:

You should be able to easily switch from soft to hard top, particularly if you had the prep kit installed when you ordered your Bronco which will have the electricity for the rear window defroster/wiper blade, and water line for the wiper blade.

Yep, what they said above and be prepared to pay easily $5,000+ and you will also cover the freight too. But, all needed brackets and seals are with the ADV top, not sure how the seals will handle or if you can keep them on each tome you switch out though

I like how if you add sound dampening and washer wiper it adds another 1,000 to the price tag. 6,500 is a little steep before adding freight charges.

Time and competition will likely cause their price to drop.. but it may be a while.

I’ll be curious what Ford will charge once they actually have inventory..

I called a two ford parts departments a couple months ago. Was told that all three hardtop sections, that are all sold separately, will cost in the 7,000 range all together, when they finally become available to order. Toooo rich for my blood. Just keeping my build, with the MIC hard top.

Good to know! We updated our order earlier this week to include the MIC top because it’s just so much cheaper to get it from the beginning… and I really hate the soft top it comes with

I'm really trying to fight the temptation of dropping the MIC so I can get mine faster. Being in the PNW the soft-top isn't really something I'd go for initially, but seeing as the summer is on the way my thoughts are I can come up with the 5k for the roof if it will be available before winter. According to the site now, the ETA is around Sep/Oct for availability which is right on the edge of winter. I guess I could deal with it for a month or so if the release is pushed back.

ugh, getting so impatient, going on 6 months. I know there's others that have waited much longer than me though.

Gotta say I would buy an Ursa Mnor top long before I'd buy the OEM or any other aftermarket top. I get that it's not the same thing entirely, but it's hardly more expensive, and it offers a lot more versatility, made by folks that have been making hard tops for years.

Looks like only 4D is available currently, I've got a 2D on order.

It'll be better to trade your soft top bronco in for a hard top bronco. I plan on putting a new order in when the banks open back up.

@Mandogus that's a good point, depending on when things are available. I bought a 2021 Jeep for $41k and drove it for a year and 12k miles. I sold it for $38k, bought a 2022 with more optional equipment for $39.8. I could have added the hard top and been at about $41k. So, basically I could have gotten the hard top almost free. If you can "flip" your current Bronco and get whatever the current model is, with a hard top, for less than $5k (even for more of a difference), it'd be cheaper than buying aftermarket.

@Hyzerflip425 Ursa Minor has said they will look at building a 2-door model if there is enough interest; however, there has to be enough length at the roof line. I tried to get a 2-door top for my Wrangler and they said there isn't enough length at the roof for a person to sleep up there, that their top wouldn't be long enough to accommodate a person. Disappointed, but it may work for a 2-door Bronco, not sure about the length of the roof and if it is more than for a Wrangler.

Apparently, they haven't built prototypes for this yet? I thought I saw someone post something about this on another thread. Could be wrong.

Can't wait for a couple more companies to start making hard tops. 5-6k is way too much. I would do 3k today. I want a one piece hard top. No seems for me.
