Received my Wolfbox G900 dash cam on September 19th, and before writing my review, I wanted to give it a couple weeks of use before I submitted it, so it’s a review written with real world experience.

First things first, the setup is wonderful in appearance and use. I went with the OEM mount option, and installation was straightforward, except for where to mount the rear camera, as was expected. I was hopeful that I could install the camera up high so if there comes a need I need to tow a trailer, the camera was above it, however, this is not really an option. With that said, I utilized the license plate bracket mount setup, and installed the camera lower than I wanted, but still in a place that’s very usable.

My only real “issue” with the camera location, is that it catches the license plate lights, and the corners of the view area a bit washed out. That’s a minimal issue, as I don’t spend a lot of time driving in the dark, so it’s mitigated by that.

I installed the GPS antenna above the sunglasses holder, which was a little bit more complex than I anticipated. Removal of that holder is sketchy, it comes out with a decent amount of pressure, but once the back clips are freed up, the front clips come out much easier.

Routing the wiring through the headliner and A pillar was straightforward. From there, I ran the power wiring to the fuse panel in the passenger footwell, and for the camera wiring, I tucked it under the trim along the footwell all the way to the back, and tucked it under the body panels all the way to the spare tire. I unbolted the rear trim panel, and drilled a small hole in the rear hatch opening, underneath the weather stripping, and ran the wire through a grommet, which I covered with butyl sealant after install.

I really like the split view, for offroad use, outside of that, though, the split view is rarely used. I did try the anti-glare screen cover, and that quickly became a no go, as it removes the ability to use the mirror with it turned off.

Overall, this product is wonderful, and should I turn my vehicle in at lease end, I will be reusing this on whatever vehicle I decide to get afterward (if not a standard option by then), or putting it on my SRT4.
