Anyone have an idea of how the Shelf/divider/table is stowed? From the renderings and videos, it’s hard to tell how it’s stowed when not in use.

More broadly, I’m also trying to get a sense of the overall size of the cargo area. I’ve scoured the internet with little luck. Anyone have any clips/images that better show the cargo area or what it could be compared to?

Assuming you mean the pull-out tray available in the 4 door?

Thanks for the reply! I actually mean in the Sport. The clips make it hard to see how it would be stowed when not in use.

This Bronco Sport is based on the Escape platform>>>>>>but beefed up for the Bronco, so it can take a beating. So I look would look at the rear of a new Escape to see the distance between the rear seat back and tailgate. The Bronco Sport is also taller than the Escape. See that safari roof line. I always thought that was a cool looking style. As far the table i haven't seen much either. But is cool, too. Some things Ford has pulled out all the stops.
Baja on! As Ford Spanked the competition in 1969, in the Baja 1000, NO OTHER AUTOMAKER HAS, replicated in 50 plus years

I think when you are not using the shelf, you just take it out. The Video at the Link at least gives a short tutorial of how to engage it.

Thanks, TX. I've see that video, great walkaround! She mentioned there were five configurations but she only really showed a couple. I'm hoping it can be stowed somewhere inside - it would be annoying to have to store the system in the garage when not in use versus in the cargo area itself.

I’m sure you can fold it flat in the back somehow.

I think the Cargo Management System will make easier access when using the lift glass for loading/unloading “stuff” when it’s in the shelf position.

Does anyone know/think this shelf option will be able to be purchased separately eventually for the Bronco Sport?

EDIT: If anyone bought the package for the under seat storage and does not want the shelf I'm sure we can work out a fair price.

I find it highly unlikely they will sell this option separately. The shelf itself is not an issue the the left and right side of the interior has molded in mounting shelves to lay the shelf on. It would be a difficult change out. Lots of work for a shelf! I suggest checking with Ford and see what they think.

Thanks @KAMware I'm hoping the shelf alone is popular enough so I can get that without having to swap a seat out. I'll post back after I check.

You'd have to change out both side panels in the cargo area or it won't work.
If you didn't get it with the original build you really can't add it without spending Huge $$$.
