Roof vs Ditch Lights

Actually those solid bars will provide more wind noise if they have fins on the back. As that's where the noise comes from.

What about light output/quaulity. I live central northern NY. But hope to move SW in a couple years. So for now the lighting will be used in snow storms, seasonal roads, fields, and stuff like that.

All externally mounted lights are going to make noise, roof or hood/pillar, etc. You just may not notice or may tolerate it.

We don't sell mounts only if that is what you are asking, because you need the mounts/light bars to work together. It's not exactly a universal thing with what is currently available. Everybody is making a different style light bar, and we don't sell the universal cheap-o bars that all share the same style mounting system

Hey fam,

Ive never had a roof or ditch light. I know there is noise form the roof bar. Does a solid bar like ridgid make a difference compared to Baja design light bar? But does the ditch lights make any noise. I can only swing on or the other so im trying to decide which way to go.

Love my roof lights. I've had lights down on my bumper on a prior truck and on this one I opted for the roof. Really great visibility!
