I need to be able to take my top off by myself without help.
I could do a ceiling lift, but my garage isn't very big.

Has anyone used this or something similar?

I like the look of it, but I'm concerned on stability.

I use it all the time. It was simple for me to put together. I leave it for up to a week at a time on the hoist when its nice enough out to do so! I'm in Michigan so sometimes its hit and miss.

I'm in Wisconsin, so same. I have my iQ for summer driving when it's not as nice, so it would probably be off for a while. Good to know. Thank you!

If you search bronco top hoist on Amazon there’s a ceiling mount version. I haven’t used it, but it seems like a better, less space consuming option.

My garage only has 8-foot ceilings. rest of my house is 10-foot, so no clue why it's so damn short, but it's also a only 2-car, not a 2.5 I just don't have the room to leave it hanging from the ceiling for the summer. This way I can take it off and wheel to the side out of the way.

Love it. Like this better than the motor cable lift.

I've got a TopLift Pro for my BRaptor. I upgraded to electric motor option and it works great for me. My garage has enough room to where I can store the top on the TopLift Pro in front of Raptor while it is parked inside.

I was asking if you had this top lift pro... I couldn't tell if you had one, or if you were just saying you liked the looks of it better, than a ceiling cable system. And if you do, any issues so far with it?

As someone with no garage and a gravel driveway I have been thinking about ordering one of these but wonder how difficult it would be to upgrade the casters to larger wheels for the rough ground.

That was my thought. But it's also movable so if my hubby wants to work in the garage he can move it out of the way without having to constantly duck around it.

I saw a comment on a different forum / post (can't remember where) that had mentioned something about the tiny wheels, but I didn't see any further discussion on it. I have paved garage and driveway, so can work with it as is.

it looks like the casters are bolt on, and possibly in the standard pattern. so maybe fairly easy to swap out for beefier wheels that would work better on gravel, you'd just have to be careful of the added height I would guess. It's looking like i'm going to order it, I'll try to remember to get back to you on it if someone else doesn't.

There's also this one:

but it says it's only for the 4-door Bronco.

I also don’t have the room or height clearance (hoist) in my garage to store my hardtop in the summer months.

For my 2 door Bronco I don’t have problems taking the top off - have plenty of help with my kids to get that done. The TopLift looks great but it’s a bit pricey and just doesn’t fit my needs right now.

What I need is a some sort of padded cart that I can wheel around that would also protect the hardtop. Or some wall mounted solution where I can hang it out of the way. Haven’t found anything like this for the Bronco yet. They make them for Jeep hardtops but nothing yet for Broncos.

It looks like it it's raised even only a foot or two that it would fit easily over the hood when parking front-first.

Yes, but that still leaves it hanging in the way for any other garage use. A ceiling hoist was what I was going to go with originally, but my hubby found this one, and we both liked the flexibility of it.

Don't have one. Just like the simplicity of the one posted here. Non mechanical, less opportunity for issues, dumbed down for me. 😝

Really like the looks and flexibility of this... but man, it would be awesome if you could somehow 'rack' the middle and front panels on it. Also a little concerned about the saw-looking part of it... does that get in the way at all? Would hate to bump that parking under it. LOL!

I like this lift, but I have no idea how to take the hardtop off my 2 door? I see the larger bolts along the back of the cap, thinking you remove those. I did a search and nothing came up, can someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks
