Half Doors

I've heard ADV Fiberglass is considering making them if there is an interest. But I'm sure all of their attention is on their upcoming hard top option.

Awesome, thank you. I sure hope they do. It just give a nice finished look when the doors are off I think.

I can't see making something like this when the doors are so easy to remove. The door, with the window down, is pretty close to a half-door, kind of the point of the frameless door. That's image above is so close to having no door, it seems redundant.

If you are looking for a "clean" look with the doors "off" this is awesome. although it seems you need to open the Half doors to get in or out. Not having to open the Half doors to get in or out would be better.

I had inserts on my 77....they were kinda a PITA for climbing in/out and installing/removing. The fiberglass was not very reinforced and flexed alot. Who ever makes these, I hope they reinforce the sill plate to allow for stepping in/out.

I think half doors look kinda cool, but with how much things kick up from the tires, I'd be prepared for a lot of sand in the face. At least that is what I imagine when I see people on a beach with everything off including the fender extensions.

same... I cant believe there isnt an effort to get these in production. I would think it would be a gold mine.
