Had an encounter with a herd of North Carolina deer. Damage to driver side front bumper. Can probably be straightened but thinking the dealer or body shop will price to replace. Looking at the ARB product Summit Winch. Welcome any comments/suggestions/advise/recommendations. Glad we were in the Bronco. Built FORD tuff!

Sorry about the deer seems they look to get hit sometimes. I don’t know if you are looking for other bumper options but these guys build one heck of a bumper. It is not cheap but it is worth the money. The extreme will offer even more protection.

Thank you for this great information. Actually boiled it down to these two. 10t winch sufficient?

Sorry to read about that deer collision! Sadly, happens way to often here too. And you're probably right, Bronco's body panels with those edgy corner features are very difficult to both make & repair.

Our front winch bumper priorities were protection/safety, cooling airflow for climbing trails in our high elevations 'n thin air here, and best possible durability on Colorado's snowy/icy roads.

We considered several trick bumpers, and after talking with couple, I realized they had not seen Ford's airflow chart for Bronco.

I don't know for sure, but Fords' accessory relationship with ARB may have something to do Fab Fours comment that 'Ford won't return our phone calls'.

If cooling isn't a significant issue for you, Fab Fours was our 2nd choice. They're in South Carolina and may not be too far from ya. Think they do installs too

Once installed, ARB's Summit bumper is pretty much bomb-proof. The install is a PITA, particularly if you have front camera, adaptive curse control/collision avoidance sensor. The parking sensors aren't difficult.

Freight is a potentially expensive cost element with steel bumpers. If buying directly from ARB, they occasionally have a $99 ships any/everything promo.

Hope this helps - Holler if ya need anything more.

Cheers

LOL - Well, more is better in recovery gear, but ourself, and those we wheel with have 10s. I carry 3 snatch blocks along for both angles and mechanical advantage, so 10 should do pretty much everything we'll need.

I went with a Fab4 bumper on my 2022 Badlands SAS, because I wanted to keep the camera system intact, and most aftermarket bumpers, at that time, called for top-of-the-bumper winch mounts, which usually nullified the camera. At the time there wasn't much in the way of camera relocation setups; now there is, giving newer purchasers more install options. With the Fab4 bumper, I get a funny-looking blacked edge from just-around-the-corners to the bumper's center. But I now know how it's a little irregular and can adjust for slightly skewed optics.

So far (almost 3 years and 42K miles), so good. My (hidden) Warn Evo10 winch has served me well, had no cooling problems, and I think the overall bumper looks great.
