The Bronco Badlands Sasquatch Concept highlights Bronco’s much ballyhooed modularity. This concept was inspired by the “weekender”. You know the person, the one who needs to get to work Monday-Friday but then transforms into Bear Grylls inspired outdoorsman Friday at dusk. Sunday night Bear is transformed back to Bob from Accounting, and his Bronco is transformed back to the stock Badlands – not too shabby.
Weekender front and rear fenders made from robust and impact-ready materials replace the stock Bronco painted fenders and fender flares. Inspired by the original U13 Roadster from 1966, the door is removed and, in its place, a tough step over replacement panel for maximum thrill and open-air feeling. For protection, the concept is covered by a Best top soft top – considered by many to be the finest soft top in the industry.
3D printed titanium parts strip weight and increase strength and tick the SEMA box for the obligatory expensive or excessive part. The unique graphics on the sides of the vehicle are rumored to mimic – a sound wave – recording for “Ford Bronco” in a microphone. We expect this to be the first of many 6th generation customized Broncos to make an appearance at SEMA for years to come.
