No on the bed and yes on the steering wheel. My two cents worth.

Not sure I'd do it, but I've seen some early Bronco beds done in wood and, if done right, they look great.

I agree with @gibsBRonCO. Last year during hot August nights in Reno I saw a early bronco bed done in wood and it looked awful. You need to make sure it’s done right. The guy who had the truck I think went cheap and it showed.

Yes, if done right. Ive seen a few wood beds done with meticulous detail and it looked good. Most of them look horrible after a few storms.
Build week of 7/26....still....no its 8/16 now
