Interested to see what kind of bumper/winch setup everyone is running. Here is mine. Toms Bronco Parts front bumper with Smittybuilt XRC 9500# winch.A2B14D69-6BD2-44B3-AB44-22A1AD16F86A.jpeg

Nice!
It begs to the question, what are you planning for your 2021 Bronco?

Well equipped 4 door Badlands. I may add the the winch/bumper combination that’s offered with it or I may go aftermarket at a later date. All depends on if I can save up a little extra cash between now and pickup time.

I have this in my build, but I have not decided to buy it from Ford yet. Ford wants $2500, but a high-end winch tray retails for under $300 and the winch being offered retails for under $1200, under $1500 total. It is also not clear if that $2500 includes install, or of is it dealer install. I may wait and see what happens in the aftermarket because I am not yet sold on a $1000 mark-up.
I wasn't there...

Also disappointed that the winch offered on build & price has the steel winch wire rope. Would much prefer the synthetic winch line that Warn offered on the same winch. You are right about the price.

My plan is to get an old-school (looking) set up, a Warn 8274 with upgraded motor, 10k lbs. with synthetic rope.

Ford is building a mod center right next to the map plant. Its my understanding that all of the add ons will be installed there and shipped to the dealers as a finished product.

motor_city_patriot is one of my followers on my instagram channel and works at map. Not sure what he does there.

I'm starting a rumor that could be true or I "could be" the next piñata! :ROFLMAO:

Yes. Thanks! I read this information before. My dealer says some things will be installed by them and some by Ford. It would be nice to know which are which! (I could be punny and say winch or winch, but that would be wrong! LOL)

I think you are asking for pics (or descriptions) of Gen 1 winch set ups. If so here's mine, a "stealth" winch behind a reinforced stock type bumper.

Saw that one in another thread. That’s awesome! Love that setup

Damn it @ared77! You got me drooling again. I started to investigate how I can copy your set up, but the aluminum radiator I have is taller than stock and hangs lower so I don't have clearances to copy you.

As for the my current bumper and winch set up, I've currently have the same Tom's Impact Series that @Jhastin4567 runs. Recently added some D-ring tabs and I extended the c-channel mounts. I have a Warn VR, which works just as well as a $1,500 dollar zeon. One thing to note, the VR's are assembled in China, which was disappointing to find out after I purchased it. Zeons are built in Oregon.

Too late for you, but for others, Warn has a comparison chart that shows what winches are assembled in Oregon vs China. Basically, the budget winches are Chinese.

Suspect such a bumper - winch mount on the new Bronco would block air flow to the inter-cooler or some other critical component.
