It’s a Bronco Nation takeover day at Holly Oaks, and you’re invited!

Friday, August 19 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be a time for strictly Broncos and Sports to enjoy the ORV park.

About Holly Oaks

Many of our Michigan locals are familiar with Holly Oaks, but we’re betting plenty haven’t gotten to experience this great asset we have right in Ford’s backyard.

Holly Oaks ORV Park is 106 acres of challenges and trails, with another 129 acres in development. Tackle water crossings, rock crawls, steep hills, and the famed Mt. Magna, a 9,000-square-foot concrete peak reminiscent of the slickrock of Moab. There’s sand to play in, mud flats to conquer, areas to pick up a little more speed, and plenty of places to practice improving your skills. For a firsthand view, check out this video by BN member @SlashRacer.

Plan of Attack

We’ll start our day early over at Holly Oaks (14551 Shields Rd, Holly, MI 48442). The park is practically in view of Bronco Basecamp, so roll out of your tents, brush your teeth, and grab some coffee and breakfast with us before we head up the street.

Need a place to stay? Members can camp with us for free.

After a couple of hours at the park, we will split off: Those going on the Motor City Miler will head out with your lead driver, and those who’d like to stay at Holly Oaks can do so.

Heritage Bronco owners, this time at the park is for you, too! Tom Zielinski, president of Z Performance and CEO of the 4Fest events, has areas to show you that are perfect for your Broncos.

The day is packed but flexible: Follow the group on all of the drives or come back to the park after our visit to Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard to have fun. Past 2 p.m., other makes and models will be using the park as well, so show off what your Bronco can do!

There will also be time on Sunday for more driving at Holly Oaks, and we encourage you to enjoy the park once again.

Details to Know

Bronco Nation has your entry covered on Friday, but you will be responsible for the other components: DNR ORV and ORV Trail stickers and an orange rectangular dune-style flag (10 ft. off the ground).

Get these items ahead of time. Usually, you can pick up a flag and have it mounted at Holly Oaks, but since we’re getting exclusive access to the park, this option won’t be available.

If you are planning to off-road at Holly Oaks on Sunday, you can purchase a ticket online starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
