Can someone explain what this form is?

I didn’t really get a straight answer when I asked the dealer. What exactly is this form. I declined all of these during my meeting with the finance manager so I know I didn’t pay for them. They did say they installed the alarm and then deactivated it before I left. What does this form really mean?

It's the other items the dealer installed. MSRP is at the top, Items added $4K and change, total price of truck at the bottom.

Those are all of the "value-add" items that some dealers add onto vehicles they sell. They likely aren't official Ford OEM accessories/options, but instead addons that the dealer added themselves after the vehicle was delivered.

Because they aren't official Ford OEM accessories... I honestly have no idea what they are. The alarm system seems to be fairly self-explanatory, and chances are it's still installed in the vehicle (just deactivated). "Repel protection" is probably some sort of paint protection chemical, maybe a ceramic coating or a wax. "Clear film package" is probably some sort of paint protection film. And "Body panels" I'm guessing are plastic trail armor protection panels?? Who knows.

Your explanation was way better than the dealer's. I get it now. It's seems like an easy revenue mark up for the dealer. I can apply ceramic coating myself for way less. So the dealer just eats the cost if I don't buy it?

I was kinda confused because the dealer said they were and weren't installed. I assume it was in reference to the alarm being deactivated. Just not sure if the other things were actually applied. I can't tell by looking at my rig because it looks like the other models in that trim. Thanks!

No idea honestly. My dealer offers some value-added options, but they won't add it onto the vehicle unless until you ask for it.

My guess is that enough people buy those addons that they can cover the cost when people opt not to buy them. Or, alternatively, there is still enough profit in the vehicle sale that it's ultimately worth it.

Correct. If they didn't find a way to sneak the cost in to your buyer's order, then IF they did all those things, they would eat the cost.

Sadly, there are probably many people who just accept the charges and end up over paying for stuff like that. And I would guess that from those sales, for the few they have to eat it's still a win for them. Years ago, Pa. dealers were big in the etched windows, charge anywhere from $250-$500 for that. And personally, I never paid for that crap! Just a money grab by dealers.

Hence the nickname Stealership. I'm glad I just declined everything. LOL
