@dwrock: The Grand Tourer
Since they released the available trims for the new Bronco, the Outer Banks has really been the one I’ve had my eye on. Not only is it capable, like a Bronco should be, but it offers some real luxury in the lineup.
For this build I was going for a Grand Touring type feel, while on the trail. The 2-Door choice was easy, as all Grand Tourers have two doors. And with the Lux Package available, the GT feel really starts to become apparent. I added the Sound Deadening Headliner too, to help quiet things down and ensure a comfortable ride.
Just like with any road going GT vehicle, this Off-Road Grand Tourer will need the guts to go behind the glory, so I made sure to include the Sasquatch Package and the 2.7L EcoBoost. Giving it all the capability on the trail while you’re sitting in comfort on the inside.
It used to be common that Grand Tourers of the past were available with matching luggage for your journeys, now while luggage wouldn’t be needed here, I did include the Off-Road Recovery Kit from Ford Accessories. All of that brings this Bronco Outer Banks example to $962 a month*.
