Sold, For $1.1m! 2021 Bronco First Edition Vin #001

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, Ford Bronco VIN #001 was sold at auction. The Lightning Blue 2-door 2021 First Edition, one of 7,000 to be produced, will come loaded with seven G.O.A.T. modes, a 10-speed automatic transmission, the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine, and dozens of features.

Excitement for the listing ran high. For weeks, the industry and general public have been speculating on the vehicle’s sell price, especially as buyers wait for their own Broncos to be produced and delivered. Bids on VIN #001 escalated quickly, with the hammer price closing at $1,075,000. Of the proceeds, 100 percent will be going to two of the Bronco Wild Fund programs, National Forest Foundation and Outward Bound. The name of the winning bidder has not been released, but we hope whoever it is plans to enjoy this special vehicle.
