About the event

This is a trail ride get together and we will be running 3 of the 4 ORV trail routes around Luther.

Event details

This event is open to all broncos and bronco sports. Due to state limits on the number of people allowed per event, this event is limited to 20 people. There are 120 miles of trail loops around Luther. We will be running 3 of the 4 trail loops(80-100 miles). The 4th trail(Tin Cup) is optional if anyone wants to run it on their own. There will be sand and hopefully there will be snow. The trails are wide open and no worries about scratches. There are several parking lots with out houses along the trails if needed.

I will be there by 9:30am and plan on starting down the trails at 10am.

We will be on the trails for 4+ hours and will stop at some point to eat. Pack a lunch, snacks and something to drink. No alcohol.

There are several places to depart the trail along way if you need to leave.

Michigan ORV and ORV Trail permits are required.

We will use gmrs channel 7 for trail communication.

The GPS cords listed for the even are wrong. We will meet at the parking area at:

Looking forward to this!
I have plenty of Off-Roading and Trail riding experience, just never did it with Goat Modes, I’m use to getting out and locking hubs, pulling levers and a stick. The Jeep I had eliminated all that but still had to cram levers down.
This will be a new experience to just turn a knob or push a button. LOL
Sand and Snow are my favorites, just don’t like the Mud anymore, don’t mind puddles that many trails offer just don’t like that thick pasty goop! 🤣
Hopefully we can get EGBronc on board, however I remember when you were setting this up before I think she said it was her husbands birthday and she’s not sure how this will work out.
Also!
She’s probably still cleaning that mud off days later.🤣

Hope you can make it. Also hoping for snow so there isn't so much mud. Even if there is some mud, it won't be like you see at Holly Oaks.

If any of you need a OBDII cable that is needed to use Forscan, I have an extra one for free. I had an issue with changing a certain setting and I thought it was because of my cable. I bought another one and of course didn't work either. That is when I found out that Forscan had a new update. Updated the software and it worked perfectly.

Just out of curiosity, is it the one with the switch on it where you have to select a or b or is it the auto detect OBD?

It is the one with the switch. Still very easy to use.

I watched a video with 1five1 Garage and they said they would prefer the Auto High/Slow speed rather than the one with the switch with the High/Slow speed, they said you have to keep switching it back and forth about 3 or 4 times and if you miss switching at the right time that their not sure what could happen.
I would have to say I’ll turn it down, but thanks.
Donna sells a lot of stuff on Facebook marketplace place and has pretty good luck there.
If you don’t give it away try market place and make some money.
I am even thinking about getting an OBD scanner that does everything without a computer attached to it, I’ve seen it a couple of times and of course I can’t seem to find it now.
The one I have saved does everything that I want it to like turn off horn when key exist the vehicle, turns off auto start/stop, and many other changes, but the only reason why I don’t like that one is because the largest Tire sizes you can change in the program is 36.5” tire size.
I most likely when these tires wear out go to 37” tires and it would not change to the right circumstances of the 37” tires.

Thank you for offering to anybody for free, that wanted it.
But I will pass.
Thanks Dean

Not sure if there will be any snow. Pretty sure the ground will be frozen and we shouldn’t have mud.

Airing down is optional but not needed. It does make for a smoother ride. There are some sandy spots on the trail, but we can get through them without airing down. The gas station near where we are meeting has an air pump.
