My Bronco Outerbanks is at the dealership due to a Check Brake System message. Dropped off on June 21st and it's been there every since. Apparently the issue is with the Brake System Vacuum Hose which unfortunately cannot be replaced because there are non available anywhere. Anyone else having this issue? Dealership has reached out directly to Ford and the update is Part availability is TBD. Really frustrating, only had it since March.

Check the lemon laws in your state. Some limit how long a repair can take before being considered a lemon

Assuming you have the 2.3?

Happened to me a few months ago. Had the parts shipped from Denver or Glenwood and back on the road to Moab next day. Sucks that you’re stuck in limbo, I think the link below has the p/n needed…you could do your own search.

So it is now Sept 15 and I still do not have my Bronco back from the dealer. Two cases have been open by the dealer with Ford and still not able to get Bronco fixed. Part backorder date has changed 5 or 6 times and now it is not showing a date. My dealer now has 2 Broncos with same problem and what I have been told by service manager is that there are 260 request for the same part. I still don't understand how we can have new Broncos rolling off assembly lines but they can not get the part to fix my Bronco that has been sitting at dealer since June. Not feeling very valued as a Ford customer!

This dealer in New Jersey had two the other day. Might give them a call Nielsen Ford 973-702-8000
Here is my vacuum hose story.
Still no word from my service dept on when they will get the part. Now for the interesting Paul Harvey story. It is a 2 hour drive to my dealership so I lose a full days pay to go there and then find out I have to come back for the repair. I decide it is cheaper for me to order and install the part rather than deal with warranty. I search online and find the part for sale in Texas and call them. Not available as they were ordered for customers but he says he shows one available in NJ and one in Bozeman Montana.(my dealership)
I call and order it received it the next day and ten minutes later installation is complete. I clear the DTC's, test drive and the problem is fixed.
I called and sent a text to my service dept to see if there was an update on my repair and so far have been ghosted. Glad I did it myself. HAPPY TRAIL folks!
