Apple CarPlay rear speakers not working

Having issue with Apple CarPlay. Listening to music via Amazon music but the rear speakers no longer output sound. They work fine for everything else (radio, satellite). Problem didn’t exist before a couple of months ago.

Have tried deleting and readding my phone. Have tried shutting down all apps and restarting the phone.Have tried resetting the sync system. It will work intermittently and then not again. Also periodically plays Amazon music over SiriusXM simultaneously.

Please tell me someone has run into this and has fix. Frustrating.

does Apple Music work correctly through CarPlay?

Have you restarted your phone and done a soft reset of your radio? (Power and fast forward buttons simultaneously for five seconds)?

Lots of zeros and ones, and some are rebellious teens looking to piss you off…

Same issue with other steaming services. Have tried all resets.
