I have to replace the windshield on my Heritage Ltd. My Ford dealer says the new window will just say Ford and not have the Bronco. Does anyone know if you can get the replacement that says Bronco?

Don't use Safelite. I had the windshield replaced on my F-150. They were going to use a knock off which didn't have all the same sound proofing, and setup for electronics that the original had. When I called them on it they told me that was what they would install and my insurance would not cover a like for like replacement. I called my dealer and got the name of the glass company they used. The glass company called my insurance company which approved an original windshield replacement.

Interesting, because I used Safelite back in 2021 to replace my windshield and it looked identical to the original glass including the logos & markings. The technician came to my office for the replacement and I had a great experience.

I used Safelite two different times (2020 and 2021) one I got the Knock off replacement for my '04 F250 the only thing is it doesn't say Super Duty on it. I got the factory replacement for my '20 Equinox that had all the markings as the OEM. the only issues I had was the Equinox had a slight crackle effect when the sun hit it just right. looked like there were cobb webs in the glass. I no longer have that vehicle but I still have the F250 and 4 years later the windshield is still like new. Your millage may differ.
side note this commercial is at the Safelite I used here in SATX.

That's interesting because the windshield is obviously Bronco-specific and Ford has been making Bronco a sub-brand, so it doesn't make sense that they would change it. Especially when doing so requires (even if not significant) a change to the manufacturing process. You are the first person I've heard say this, so this could be a very recent change. Third-party glass wouldn't have any Ford branding, so that isn't the case.
I'm holding off for as long as possible to replace the glass, as I figure the sooner I replace it, the sooner it will get cracked again. 😐 Around here, it doesn't matter if you are two cars behind a semi or two lanes over, they'll find a way to flip a rock on your windshield. 😡

I recently replaced mine, went through the dealer, & it looks exactly the same. The only bummer for me was I had to peal off the “made in Michigan” sticker in the upper corner, & try to put it on the new windshield. I was able to, but you can tell it’s been removed. Haha
I’d go to another dealer, or another person in the dealership until you find someone that will get you the Bronco logo windshield. Good luck!

Got my first crack last thursday by a rock kicked up by a semi. Luckily when I picked up my Bronco from Ford, I got the glass warranty. Have an appointment for it tomorrow. I guess I'll find out if it was worth it. As for Safelite, they are franchises. I've used three different ones, and two were good. The third was pretty crappy.

Makes me now wonder if my replaced windshield from Ford has Bronco on it .. Ugh ..
Will have to go look ..

I know this is an older post but this make me feel soooo much better ... I have Safelite coming to me Wednesday to replace my windshield on my 4 month old Wildtrak 😭 A stupid dummy butthead rock hit the crap out of my windshield on the highway yesterday and did a spectacular job cracking the crap out of it. I was so worried about the windshield looking the same; my insurance agent assured me it would but she also admitted she has a girl who does all of her glass claims. I know it happens but I'm still so mad lol

Sorry to hear this. I would say more people have replace their windshield than those that have not. Some folks have used a protector like This. https://nexgenbronco.com/21-23-diy-...mxms7fluS61myGhzG2BpEm3Ykr_fDmE_yXmP3q9hFdlXH
I am one of the lucky ones 41K miles on the original, I was going to get the protector but I got a chip and figured when it runs ill replace the windshield then add the protector. So far I have a few chips but no crack yet.

Thank you for the tip! Yeah I did a bunch of reading up yesterday on multiple Bronco groups and this seems to be a pain that many owners have experienced. Now off to research mud flaps (I have a few beauty marks from my tires kicking up rocks) and running boards.

I replaced mine last year after King of Hammers. I remember the guy telling me the aftermarket will not say Bronco. Of course it was cheaper. I went with the OEM and it says Bronco on the drivers side bottom.

I had windshield protetion film applied at the same time I did PPF. Suffice it to say that the PPF has been great, but the windshield film did not stop me getting a crack. Considering how expensive it is, I consider it a pricey experiment that did not pay off. 😀
