Maybe I missed it, but yours the 2.7 or 2.3? Sounds good!

Replaced all three front speakers. Also added the Mabett front door pockets.

specifically when hitting it with a power washer in my driveway - where the soft top seal meets the seal on the frame - if you hit that at an upward angle with the water - you will get water inside... nothing crazy, but when it's all muddy water - it adds to the stuff running down the interior panels -
I have driven it in some pretty good rain, and when the water is coming from above it's not a problem - until you open your window or door LOL ... better have a towel ready!

Haha sounds good, I have hard top I was more referring to your “I’d be happy to never go in the mud again” part lol. Someone who maybe hates cleaning as much as I do.

Got my Rockslide Engineering EZ Rack today so I have it dry fitted with the 2Gal. Rotopax on it. Only problem is the left one blocks the door handle so can’t open tailgate without taking the can off. Tomorrow I may mess with angles and stuff to see what I come up with. Need to get some thread locker for the Rotopax locks before I can permanently (semi-permanently since it is removable) mount it.

Anyone have good ideas for the door handle situation? Please don’t say top and bottom hahaha. I’d probably leave it off before I did that. Haven’t installed my roof rack with the side mount plates yet so one side of that is still an option, the other side is getting the DMOS stealth shovel.

And instantly dropped the backer plate, it fell in ( of course) a perfect spot behind the plastic trim at bottom of the grill. So all I can get in there is a finger tip. Will get a flexible magnet tomorrow. Can't use my screw driver no room to point it down.

Larger tire would make it worse, probably wouldn’t even be able to see the handle. The strap will fit ANY size tire. Mine are stock 33”s

I was thinking with the larger diameter it would push the cans up higher on the tire. Because on the picture it looks like it clears the handle and it is the bigger rim and tire. I guess I will have to look at some other posts with it. Is there a way to shorten the slack on top and put more slack on the bottom?

Sure you can slide them up and down on the tire they could go up at least a couple more inches but that would look odd I think but it may be a “workable” solution since I don’t intend to leave it on all the time.

Replaced the rear speakers with Focals. Yesterday I washed it.

Christmas Edition Bronco

Yesterday I installed the Yakima hitch extension so that I can actually use the Rockslide Engineerig step without having to open the door. I like it, it also serves as first line of defense and maybe a camera saver. Only problem is it sets off the two closest parking assist sensors so they are going off every time I back up. It doesn’t activate during normal driving. The other two (outside) still work fine for approaching vehicles etc. while driving.

I don’t want to disable parking assist in settings, so could I:
1. Disconnect those two without the system having a heart attack OR
2. Disable those two in FORSCAN without disabling the others
3. Deal with it.

Don’t quote me on this, but my 2016 F150 got a fender bender on the rear bumper. I remember when the shop was looking at the damage, they mentioned having to possibly replace some of the sensors if they were damaged. Not an expert on the sensors by any means, but it seemed like they were independent sensors that should still operate if you disconnect one. But who knows these days with all the computers in these cars, wouldn’t shock me if it throws an error code if you unplug them.

Decided that my Trailrax rack needs some color to match their logo. Preparing myself to put the K&N cold air intake on tomorrow.

Added the most boring yet somehow extremely satisfying little doodads: Jam Handles! They let you close the doors without getting fingerprints on the outside of your door that collect dust. Did both on the driver's side since I doubt I can train passengers to use them.

PS-You need to upgrade your traceable security label on the door to one of our Bronco labels (see pic). Ours also come with a lifetime recovery registry and are way better quality vs the one on your door which will most likely start peeling within 2-5 years. I hope your dealer either included a theft warranty with it OR gave those labels to you for free if you didn't buy coverage.
