Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Forgot about this thread! Finally get to partake. Have done a few things to the Bronco at this point but the latest was swapping the hardtop screws for the Rockworkx quick thumb screws (love them), and installing the Auto Start/Stop Eliminator.

At first I was going to rely on simply hitting the button every time I got started the Bronco but that got old quick. I know it takes time to create a habit but I found myself forgetting sometimes and just wanted to be done with it. Now it's "set it and forget it." If you're thinking about getting one or haven't installed yours yet, don't cheap out on the masking tape. Use plenty. Saved my console from scratches, as the tape took a decent beating.

I have the GCPA quick disconnects on order. How tight do your hold it down etc. Wonder if either is better or not. As for the auto start I dont mind it, If it really bugged me I’d do FORSCAN.

I haven’t seen the GCPA quick screws until now. To your question, I bet both screw options secure just the same. As for the Rockworkz screws, they work fantastic. I’d say better than the stock Bronco screws and offer tie down points if you get the d-ring style. I think you’ll be more than happy with those quick screws.

I looked into FORScan but was more comfortable running with the plug and play option of the eliminator. FORScan definitely for the win if there are other items you’re looking to change up (double honk, etc.).

Double honk honestly doesn’t bother me too much, does its job and reminds me keys are in. I just changed DRL to yellow and added Sport mode (which is cool). I thought I had set the fogs to be able to run with DRL but I gues that was what I was thinking not what I did lol.

so, this weekend, I got the Stinger subwoofer box mounted on the tailgate (not wired up yet), and got the Diode Dynamics reverse led pods and spare tire bracket mounted, and wired up - so when I am driving with headlights on, the red backlighting in the lights (SS1 Pro) are on, and when I hit the brakes they go brighter. When I go into reverse, they light up BRIGHT in white, and also when I use zone lighting, they illuminate. I also wired them to be activated (in white) when I hit the rear foglight button.

The orange foglight icon is for the rear facing lights, the green is for the front fog lights

Reverse mode/zone lighting/rear fog light mode

this is just with the headlights on

Took me maybe 30 min to string them around and zip tie them in place. I didn’t even know I had a 110v outlet behind the center console! That worked perfectly
