Bronco Nation has confirmed with Ford that the white hard top option will be limited to a small number of trims in the MY22 Bronco lineup. Unlike the new green color option that we confirmed to be coming on to MY22 yesterday, the white top will not be widely available across Bronco trims.

The white top, seen below as an early prototype in this photo from the Detroit Free Press, is certainly eye-catching. We'd expect more information coming from Ford about which 2022 Bronco trims will have the option as we get closer to the model year change over in December.

Yay.
Small number of trims better include the Big Bend.Actually they have how many trim levels? 6? 6 is a small number.

Green with a white top would look great. Even though I would do Velocity Blue personally.Gotta have white grill too.

Seriously, a small number of trims? It should be option code WT for white top. Just let people buy what they want... stop trying to nickel and dime customers to death Ford.

Agreed, very stupid. My bet is it being on the trim that replaces the $64k First Edition.

Sounds like we have a Heritage Edition coming with a white Hardtop. Guessing white grille and white door handles,, we might even see the white interior go into production. Looks like that additional 7/19 reservation will be paying off.

I’m hoping this is because of shortages because if not, another aggravating decision by Ford...

I agree with all, Ford should rethink their option and trim pairings. They have an excellent product/platform with their new Bronc but some of this does not make any sense. I get the move to push individuals to higher trims but come on...

I wish they would rethink this approach for MY22 but if I was a betting man (and I am not) the white top will be offered only on OBX and higher trims.

Exactly. I can’t help but imagine what my grandfather, who had a first gen Bronco as a farm truck, would think of the new luxury versions.

This is why I'm just wrapping my black top, not even going to worry about possibly missing out on a white top due to it being on a trim that I may or may not be able to acquire.

Maybe it will be an accessory part that can be ordered later on.

I’d love a Velocity Blue Badlands with a white hardtop; but the orange interior trim and stitching is a no go for me on a blue exterior. If the interior color combo on the Badlands stays the same, I’ll go with the Cyber Orange if still available.

This is extactly what I want!!!!! With a white top. This is awesome. This should have been the BASE interior! Standard interior! The first Broncos had WHITE interiors! White tops! Sit a black interior convertible with the top down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get the picture??????????????????????????????? A burnt back side! Vinyl would be a plus. I hate black interiors. But that is what they all make. The days of blue, green, red, gold, or even a NICE grey interior seem to be gone. Red on Red...that is a STUNNING thing to see. Black shows EVERYTHING.
Baja on! As Ford Spanked the competition in 1969, in the Baja 1000, NO OTHER AUTOMAKER HAS, replicated in 50 plus years

Would it be that expensive just to have the MIC top pained by a body shop?

There is a slight texture to the MIC as I understand which will not be ideal for painting
