With the new larger tires installed on all 4 corners, it was the 5th one we were concerned about. Putting the larger tire on the stock mount would decrease the departure angle for the rear. Although this decrease would not be much, any decrease would negatively affect the off-road capabilities of the vehicle. We were also concerned with the rear bumper replacement and if the current location of the tire would interfere with it.

This is where the tire relocation mount from 4WP Factory comes in to play. This repositions spare tire 2.4" or 3.4" upward and 1.9" out to allow up to 35” tires. The installation was straight forward and took minimal time for installation. There are a couple other relocation kit available but chose this one for the minimal sized logo.

The hardest part of the spare tire relocation is the lifting of the tire onto the mount.
