My Bronco was ordered incorrectly by dealer and does not have Lux package installed. Does anyone know if that can be put in now at dealership?
I ordered the Bronco with Lux package and it was built with High Package.

I don’t care for the wireless charger either. I haven’t had any overheating or problems like that, I just don’t like have my phone lying down flat instead of vertical for better reception. Also I found that any time my phone moved from the “sweet spot” it quit charging. Lastly I hate giving up the little compartment in a vehicle with almost no storage spots.

Adaptive cruise control does what it is supposed to. Also you can adjust how many car lengths away you want it to start slowing you down. You can select 4 bars down to 1 bar.

Open highway with few cars I would use 4 bars just in case my mind wasn’t in the game.

Typically I use 1 bar because for me anything more slows me down too soon and someone is always sliding into the space left by the ACC with 2 or more bars which then slows me down even further.

It’s something you have to get used to or just don’t use it. You can still use cruise control as you always have just turn the ACC off then it is just like old cruise control.

Don’t fear the new.

OP, I think this is the World telling you an out-of-doors, off-road, trail-riding, overland-camping oriented vehicle is not supposed to be a Cadillac.

Just sayin'
This is true, but for the price point, it's not unreasonable to have a few bells and whistles for the 90% of the time that these rigs will be on the road. That's pavement, to and from the trails.

I believe LUX also adds BUILT_IN navigation, versus connected navigation.

That's interesting (and all good), I actually use 4 bars most of the time specifically to GIVE people as much room as they think they need to slide in--I don't want anyone feeling they need to perform heroics in order to get in. Ha.

My advice is to keep the High for now and when order banks open back up, order another one with Lux (if that's what you really want) and then just trade/sell the High when the Lux comes in. That way you're not out of the enjoyment of Bronco ownership while you wait another 18-24 months.

I honestly don't know why everyone says the speakers in the B&O system are crap. I can turn the volume up to concert level loud in my Badlands with the B&O sound system. It is crisp and clear.

Set your sound settings to SURROUND and tweak the treble, mid and bass settings.

Songs played on Pandora are not as loud as on SirusXM or ones that are downloaded to your phone.

Download this song to your phone after you've made the adjustments to your sound settings and put it on 15. At 1:03 into the song it picks up.

You may be doing it wrong.

What I mean is… I’ve been using adaptive cruise control for years, and while I have have to learn and understand the feature and its use, I’ve never had to outwit it.

Depending on road conditions, and the movement of other cars, the adaptive cruise control may apply brakes at a time when I, as the driver, would not have. As a user of adaptive cruise control I know that I have not been alleviated of my responsibility to drive the car. I have to understand how the feature works, and be prepared to respond and work with it.

It reminds me of antilock brakes. Apparently, some folks thought/think that when ABS start ratcheting it means they should ease off of the brake pedal, when in fact means the exact opposite! You have to understand how ABS works if you want to use it, and work with it.

It’s perfectly fine to hate a car feature (I think)… but I’m not sure hating ACC becuase it slowed down when a car was in front of you is the right reason, is all I’m saying. 😁
If you really hate it so much you can change it in settings to regular cruise control (I believe). I for one, think adaptive cruise is AMAZING and I wont ever buy a new car without it…. Sure, sometimes it slows you down without notice because you’re creeping up on someone in front of you, but thact’s a small price to pay for all the benefits…

-front camera…. When off roading it comes on automatically, however you can turn it on anytime…
2 things

1st, how do you turn the front camera on “anytime”. I know I may be showing my ignorance but I would like to know how. I have looked and couldn’t find it.

2nd, learned today that the front camera has it’s own washer spray, how the heck is this not the coolest unnecessary thing ever. Again probably showing my ignorance. I read about it so I put system in BAJA goat mode so the front camera turned on and press the windshield washer button and sure as shit the camera got a spray down.

There is a button between the radio dials for turning it on. I think its the center one of the 3. But.....it will only activate below a certain speed. I think its 20mph, but not sure.

I just downgraded yesterday from Lux to High. For what Lux offers that I was really interested in was essentially the heated steering wheel and garage door opener. I was looking forward to the B&O speakers until I read so many people complaining about them, so I'll just go AM for speakers. As long as I have cruise control, I don't care if it's adaptive or not. I don't care about built in navigation since wireless CarPlay offers Apple Maps. As far as wireless charging, I don't plan on using it. I had it in my old F250 and it rarely worked. I'd rather not lose the storage space.

I really wish heating steering and garage door opener was a simple add-on, but alas it is not. Those two features just aren't worth the roughly $2k upgrade from High

FoMoCo really needs to offer a cold whether package that has all the heated stuff in it as a standalone option.
