I was curious can you run them only on the front on a 4 door.

I think he means leaving the rear doors on and only using the front, so in that case yes, BUT you have to buy the 4DR package and door dimensions are different

Exactly. Thanks. Perhaps I wasnt clear. I'm seeing myself running just the front tubes at times on my 4door. Why? Heck not sure. Maybe I'm a weirdo. Either way thanks everyone. I'm really enjoying this forum. Its positive and fun.

Thanks Residual appreciate the info I was wondering how that can be done unless there's some sort of box added on to. Then I came across this from top gear

They are not talking the doors. They are talking standard dash bags.

Let's clear up the airbag confusion that's going on here.

Bronco has seat mounted side airbags just like almost every other new vehicle produced today.

Bronco has side air curtain airbags that are mounted in the roof rails. This is something that the Jeep Wrangler does not have. Almost every other passenger car and truck made has these.

The Bronco does not have any airbags mounted in the door. No vehicle in production I am familiar with has door mounted side bags. For side airbags to work correctly they need to inflate with a very specific position related to the person sitting in the seat so the chambers in the airbags line up with the correct body regions, mainly your ribs and pelvis bones. They are mounted to and inflate from the seat so this positioning works. If they were inflating from the door, this relation would be difficult to manage with the seat being able to move up, down, and tilt relative to the door.

When you buy the tube door option it's likely going to have a manual with a ton of disclaimers regarding for offroad use only to go along with any warnings and disclaimers the vehicle manual has for using the vehicle with the doors off. I do not know if the seat mounted airbags will deploy when the tube doors are on or when the doors are off altogether.
