I just picked up a JetBoil Minimo stove and I’m giving it a whirl for breakfast.

I taught the kids how to make potato chips in a skillet. They thought that was cool.

Love seeing camping equipment. Nice!
All you need now is a French press and a Bronco coffee mug. Oh...a dog by your side helps as well!

But I’ll be honest,
For coffee,
I’ll use the 110 outlet in the back of the Bronco.
Just don’t tell anyone else I’m cheating.

So, I should of given the potatoes a little longer in the skillet. Mrs. @David’s comment: “They’re fine, perfectly edible.”

That’s all we shoot for on the trail.

Not cheating to use what you’ve got. Especially in bad weather!

I’d rather have slightly undercooked potatoes out on the trail than eat at a 5 star restaurant any day.
Good job!

You're braver than I am! I'm the guy to knock over the meals. I only boil water for Mountain House freeze dried meals :)

I like to cook over the camp fire. We used to have a grate type thing that folded flat for storage. Put that over the fire and was like cooking on a charcoal grill. Worked great for coffee pot (old percolator kind), and Frying pan.

Yes cook the sausage or bacon set aside, fry the potatoes in grease until almost done add chopped onions add crumbled meat back into pan cook until onions are translucent then add scrambled eggs cook till done. Serve on tortillas with some Cholula.
Breakfast Tocos are always a go to camping food for us.
