Uneducated guess would be around 20, but take it with a grain of salt

I'm gonna guess around 14 ... I have the 2.3L ecoboost in my Mustang, which is a far more aerodynamic (and probably lighter) vehicle - over the course of the 4 years I've had it, it's averaging 18mpg ... so I imagine the 2.7 being a bigger engine, with big tires, on a big boxy, heavy vehicle- will get worse mileage

Exact setup on the ranger 2.3/10 sod auto with 3.73 Ratio is 21/26. I assume bronco will be very close. Add the 2.7 it goes down 10% add Sasquatch another 10% hit because of ratios.

is that EPA/Estimated or actual (21/26)? I'm guessing the bronco with the 2.3 will be around 16-18 REAL WORLD MPG ... the 2.7 will probably be around 14-16

I’m gonna say 18 highway. Gotta remember, both motors are either “eco” or “boost”. There is no in between. Stay out of the boost, keep a light right foot and the mileage will be better.

My 3.5EB in my F150 will get 20+ up to about 70MPH. At that point, the wind resistance and gearing gets the motor into more boost and mileage suffers pretty good. Ive found that city driving in Sport Mode can still get good mileage and that’s just because of the 10-speed. Gotta hang on in Sport Mode as it makes that 3.5EB F150 feel like a sports car.

My 1996 with a 302, 5 speed, and 31/1050/ BFG all terrains can get 15mpg. The 1993 with a 6 inch lift, E4OD auto/ 4:56 gears and 35' BFG mud terrains max out at 9mpg.

The Bronco was never designed with fuel economy as a top priority. The new Bronco without the re-gear and 35" inch tires will be respectable in MPG just as long as you stay out of the boost..... good luck with that one. If you can get over 15mpg with the re-gear, large tires, and a 6 cylinder ..... you will be my hero.

That is the EPA estimated values published on the ford website for the Ranger. The 2020 F-150 4x4 2.7L/10 SPD auto crewcab 3.55 gear ratio advertises 18/23. Maybe that’s a bit high considering bronco’s gearing but I am really only guessing.

It will be 20 or better. Ford will make it as close as possible to the Wrangler IMHO.

Guess on the 2.3 it should be close to the Ranger..The 2.7 should be close to an F-150. I averaged 21/26 with my F-150. And that was with the 6 speed transmission. This all goes out the window with the Sasquatch package. And all this is dependent on not having a heavy foot. Which is hard to do with the 2.7 at least.

what !!!?????? Does it matter ??
Im going for a unique look ! I got a jeep with a power programer and I get 200 miles per tank full . oh and without programer only 180 miles! I'll be happy with anything over 10.5 mpg . And I'm sure aftermarket power programers and cold air intakes will be out there ........

It will depend on what you do with your Bronco. Daily driver may get up to 20 as a guess. I’m sure most enthusiasts here see mpg’s as a low priority to capabilities.
