Wow!! Hopefully they don't strike again and try to get hold of some Bronco Raptors.

An estimated $1 million worth of new 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor pickup trucks were stolen from a Dearborn Truck Plant storage lot, a Dearborn city official confirmed to the Free Press.

This is happening more and more i.e. large groups of cars being stolen at once.

Dont new raptors have onboard GPS or was it not activated yet since the vehicle not sold?

Just a suggestion to prevent this from happening. Ford should preload our partners digital pedal lock device on its vehicles. Lock pedal and even have the option to remove controller to unlock it when parking vehicles for longterm storage pre-transit and potentially for dealer lot protection as well. The device, unlike GPS and Perimeter security system, actually prevents the vehicle from being stolen. If @Ford Motor Company is interested in learning more about pedal lock we can set up a meeting to discuss solutions with NT Auto's 30+ year experience in auto theft prevention.

Also see how pedal lock works in our video below. If you want to buy one for your vehicle simply click our bronco nation thread below the video

Nothing but love here but actually it was "nearly 1M worth of Raptors". Not "a lot of trucks" nor is it "funny" for Ford or those waiting on raptor trucks.

Yes, on the surface of this thread it appears as though 100+ raptors were stolen. Because a million dollars is still a lot of money. But at roughly $75-100K a pop its obviously "only" between 10-20 units stolen. Nevertheless not a small job. It took manpower, intel and skill to pull off.

My first question is, does Ford have cameras on the storage lot? Surely they do but its likely not useful to identify the crooks. Footage may be useful though in helping Ford understand HOW they pulled it off and prevent it from happening again.

Ford won't miss a million dollars, look how much they have wasted on the train station.
