I take it back. I'm now finding it incredibly difficult to figure out which option to go for. In order to keep within my budget I have to choose one or the other: Sasquatch w/2.3, or NonSquatch w/2.7.

Choose the 2.7 engine. That you can’t change. You can always change the tires & suspension AM

Tough choice! Either engine has the power. I like the porting on the 2.7 better.

This sept. I place my order for the bronco build for a yr 22. I’m curious will Ford produce a green color in time for the 22 yr placements. Because, to my knowledge once you place an order it can’t be changed. So far I’m going with cactus grey which looks fantastic but would really love an olive color. It just speaks to my inner military.

You can make changes up until you get a VIN assigned

I wish they had started my build. Started off with a OB at about $43,500. Since then I’ve changed my order twice to include lux, leather, and Sasquatch. Now I’m up to around 55k. Gotta stay off the Build your Bronco site.
I feel your pain. I have added a couple of things and my build has gone up $4,000 since I placed the order in January.

Same here. I started with a 2 Door Base, now I’m at a 4 Door BD, and now I’m thinking for only 7k more I can get a BL.

I’m not sure if you are ordering a 2 dr or a 4dr and what trim you are ordering.

The 2dr looks fantastic on a set of 33’s. The 4dr looks good on 33’s but on 35’s it’s

The 2.3 makes good hp.

Whatever you decide, stay within your budget. You will enjoy your bronco much more if you can afford to go on adventures with it.

To be honest, I would love to order a 2dr Black Diamond. That way I could get both the 2.7 and the Sasquatch and stay right within my budget. My Wife, however, doesn't like the 2dr at all and would greatly prefer we get a 4 door...Even though I've pointed out to her that our new 4Runner fulfills the 4 door off-road vehicle category and this way we could have both styles! *laughs*

As it's looking though, I think it'll end up being a MY22-23 4 door Black Diamond with the 2.7, non-squatch that we end up ordering. I'll just see about upgrading the suspension and go with some 33" Grabber ATX later on. (y)

I placed my order today for an 2 door Outer Banks in Area 51. The color choice was down to that and Velocity Blue. It's an important decision but for me, who's not so mechanically inclined, the biggest decision was between the 2.3 and 2.7 engine. Ultimately, I went with the 2.7 for greater peace of mind. As was stated previously in this thread, it's harder to change the engine.

I initially put my order in as A51, changed multiple times, currently it's carb grey. I guess I'm just playing paint code roulette, whatever color it's on when my order gets pulled is what I'll get. I still have yet to see A51 in person other than the paint sample cards, but my wife somehow finds Bronco sports all the time and sends me pics like this:

And we're on the verge of changing it again...

You need to check the ford website and look for an Area 51 bronco sport at a dealership near you. After you find one in Area 51, call the dealership to confirm they have it on their lot. I learned the hard way and drove 45 minutes to a dealership to see a cyber orange bronco sport and it wasn't on the lot.

Then take your wife for a ride and check it out. Don't forget to stop for some icecream on the ride.....on the way there and on the way back. :p

BTW.....icecream has NOTHING to do with the color decision, but it sure tastes good! ;)

Choosing color was difficult.
For the lat 20 years I've been driving brightly colored vehichles in the red and orange spectrum. Not too fond of the orange offering for the Bronco
When I placed my order, I went with Cactus Grey. I then changed it to A51. I was still undecided.

Then I saw Bronco sitting in a dealer lot. It was Antimatter.

I'm now decided.
