The Bronco Sport is NOT just a “Rebadged/Rebodied) Ford Escape

Really getting tired of hearing uneducated automotive journalists/reviewers saying that the Bronco Sport is just a “re-badged or re-bodied” Ford Escape… Every manufacturer utilizes some level of platform or component sharing across their vehicle lines in order to reduce costs. That being said, there is clearly a lot more effort that went into differentiating these two vehicles (aesthetically AND mechanically) than many other platform/component sharing examples throughout the industry

Compared to those above pitcures
The bronco sport name is marketing with the little bronco horse'y.

The competition stayed within the original vehicle name and added the trim/pkg.

There is nothing wrong with the sport, I'd enjoy one. IMHO the Bronco seems more "truck-ish" than the sport, which is what I prefer.

None of y’all would call a 65 Mustang a rebadged 65 Falcon.

Same frame, suspension, engine and some interior. More so that the Bronco Sport and Escape!

The early ones were just that and I called em that too.:devilish: Had a GF that a purple falcon,. I called it the purple lemon.
