Stalls when stopped in gear

I have a 1990 bronco 5.8l and it idols perfect in park and neutral but if I put it in drive or reverse it stalls and dies please help don’t know what to do

Sounds like it could possibly be a vacuum leak. Check all of your rubber vacuum hoses to make sure none of them are broken or have any holes. I’d start with that
