Wow! I really liked both “The Normie” and “The Northerner”. I remember those days with kiddos in the back seat and, living in the north, snow on the windshield.

I suspect you are both correct in believing Big Bend will be a hit with both young families and young couples who crave the outdoor life. Just one idea. Both groups might benefit from a tow hitch for a bicycle mount.

Although I do prefer the 2.7L engine, I would guess the 2.3L would work well for the family group. However, if you load it up with a spouse, kids, dogs, and gear the 2.7L might be a better fit in going up and over the mountains here in New England. Of course, you could leave the spouse and kids behind. Just don’t forget the dogs!

I think any vehicle called "The Northerner" would have to have at least take mid package to get heated seats. They warm you up on really cold days long before the heater has warmed up the interior enough to make a difference.

This week's vote goes to Dwrok. Living in CO and because it's 23 degrees outside right now, I'll go for the warmth!! Agree with RynoPSU, seat heaters are a must!

Normie gets my vote. I’d just need some creature comforts from the Mid package!

I vote the northerner, but only for the color and the engine. I think @David probably has the more popular version with the American family that has kids and concerned about the price point.

I like the “Normie“ with the Mid package. I wish that Ford would let us choose the Manual, too.
