We should have 20+ Broncos out tomorrow. It’s Raptor takeover weekend too I believe. We saw several heavily modified Raptors this afternoon. Should be quite a show!

22 day 1 (being lazy) 15 day 2 (noticeably better)

Other members went as low as 8 and made even easier work of the dunes (without bead locks).

Almost 100% in Baja mode with front camera on.

Any faces were made in good fun! GMRS is pretty much the dominant radio and I think we all had a radio (I brought a couple of loaners).

Haven't been to Silver Lake since the early to mid 70's. Built this from a VW. Stock 52 HP VW engine. It would take a lickin and kept on tickin. Doesn't look like much, but it would climb all but one hill on the dunes. A lot less folks in those days and most of the vehicles were home made...and it didn't cost $60K. Ah the good ole days!!

There are still tons of home made vehicles out there. Some budget, some high$. I have been there in buggies, on quads, full size trucks and now my Bronco. All good and different fun!
