I realize this isn’t intended as a plow truck.

But what do you think of the possibility that it could support a “home owner do your long driveway” type of plow ?

Since the Bronco is based on the Ranger, this was a interesting find; Ford stated that the 2019 ranger wasn't designed for snow plowing With that said, there will most likely be a plow kit developed by the aftermarket, as the aftermarket built snow plow mounting kits for the Ranger as well.

You want to spend the thousands of dollars it takes to put a blade on your 40 thousand dollar Bronco, just to clear your driveway?
That's why God made used Jeeps!
Heck, I'll sell you my 1948 Willy's for a tenth of that amount (and it already has a blade).
Then we can both sleep well at night knowing your fine Bronco is not suffering the ravages of a harsh winter doing menial tasks!

I already have a really nice classic F150 that I use for plowing. But I just have too many vehicles so have decided I would rather have a nice new Bronco with a snow plow than the truck.

But thanks for questioning my rationale, which wasn’t the point of the question.

Meyers makes a driveway plow that uses a front receiver hitch for mounting the plow to the vehicle.

That or something similar is what I plan to use. While I wish it could plow like my old '79 did I can get away with less as I only need to do my own driveway these days.

Cant use a plow due to the turbos, you would need a diesel to plow properly. It blocked the intercooler and messed with epas. Supposedly snow way is the only company that makes it work but it might void warranty.

Turbos do not hurt plowing. The engine develops plenty of torque down low.

So you mean an 80s diesel without a turbo then. ;)

Ford would not allow a plow on the 3.5l ecoboost f150s. Needed the na v8 to get it. Blocked the intercooler and messed with the epas system. snow way supposedly developed one for the ecoboost however might void warranty

I have seen plenty of Soccer Mom SUVs with a small blade. They will make one I am sure.

I would think my 7 speed manual 2door with the creeper gear would be perfect for the task. Short wheelbase, agile, plenty of power.
I had an 1986 F-150 with the 4 spd creeper, I could push 2' of snow in one swath with that creeper first gear, and it was a western 7.5' pro plow with a 5.0. Hell the Bronco makes more HP and torque than that rig. Be interesting to see if the aftermarket steps up

I don’t know how cost effective it would be or for how long of a distance the driveway is ,
Perhaps check out heating the driveway.

I have a long driveway and it would be more cost-effective to get a 4 wheeler with plow or side by side for the little you really trully need it unless your lazy and money isnt an issue

Could you do it, sure. But you have to ask why you would do it. Historically the best driveway plow is going to be in order of coolness:
1. An actual tractor with a bucket
2. An old worn-out Jeep
3. An old worn-out 4x4 Dodge Power Wagon
4. An old worn-out 4x4 Chevy truck
5. An old worn-out 4x4 Ford truck
6. Any old worn out 2wd truck
7. Lawn tractor with a snowblower attachment
8. ATV with a plow on it.

The key to being on this list of cool plows is they need to be worn out, typically lots of rust on the body but driveline has been built up.

But if you are in the desert you have to drive along way to get to snow. Its easier to live where it happens.
