I talked with my dealer Tuesday 9/20 about the COVP 9/21. The Bronco specialist said that they will likely not get many orders converted on 9/21 because WBDO will likely have problems with high traffic. He said they will work as quickly as possible to get orders converted. He asked me to scan a copy of my license and email him. I scanned my license, my DORA for MY22, and my MY22 Ford order confirmation email.

On Friday 9/23 I was pleasantly surprised to receive a new MY23 Ford order confirmation email. These emails are very general in terms of specs. However I did notice that it was missing the Sasquatch package. I emailed the Bronco specialist Friday evening about the error. I asked about coming in to get a new copy of the DORA for MY23. I received a response Saturday morning about WBDO dropping Sasquatch packages (software glitch) and that he forgot to go back and add it in. He asked me to come to the dealership to sign the new DORA.

I am glad I asked for a copy of the new DORA. The specialist had added the Sasquatch package, but failed to add the tow package. I did not want any changes to my order. It was very helpful to have my 22MY year DORA to compare to the newly printed MY23 DORA.

So avoid a surprise and disappointment and be sure to ask for your new MY23 DORA and look over it well to be sure it is correct. You should have done these three things to be sure you have gone through the COVP correctly.

1. Submitted a copy of your license.
2. Sign new DORA.
3. Make sure your Sales Code and Order Code are the same MY22 to MY23
4. Priority code is 10-19. Anyone number between the two is fine.
5. Received an order confirmation for MY23 from Ford.

Challenge your dealer if you are told otherwise or be ready for surprise and disappointment!

Appreciate the heads up. This is at least the second post I’ve seen about Sasquatch just disappearing from an order.

Is any priority between 10-19 really equivalent. Seen and been told conflicting information on this. For what it’s worth, my dealer said the priority code is vehicle specific and all their retail bronco orders are 19, as is mine.

In the old days it meant a lot more than it does now. With the shortages in parts and demand exceeding allocation anything between 10-19 mainly just means build it. However I wouldn’t be surprised if the ford computer system still uses it when assigning builds. Let’s say two people go into two different dealers at the same time and order a fully loaded bronco with every option possible. One inputs it as priority 10 and one priority 19. Down the road they go to schedule and both dealers have an allocation and they have all the parts to build one of these identical builds. I suspect that the computer will pick the 10 and leave the 19 waiting. I also suspect that your dealer is blowing smoke because my order was coded a 10 from day one.

My 2022 Wildtrak order was a priority code 19. The 2023 reorder was placed with a priority 10, so I don’t think it vehicle specific.

The computer selection process makes sense. I had a 10 priority code, and I'm in the build process as of today after only a 6 month wait.

I fully expected, and was told as much by my dealer, I'd have a 1 year wait.

Great advise. Had to this for my original order for 2022 was supposed to be with Hoss 3.0 and dealer forgot to add it....luckily I never got scheduled because if I had I would have a Wildtrak non-Hpss 3.0 and I would've been not to happy since that's the only reason why I'm upgrading to Wldtrsk.

Great post - I went through the same thing.

One thing I have a question over - when my dealer rep printed my order form for me to sign etc to convert to a 2023 (painful doing this again) - I had priority 99. I asked "whoa what is going on here" (terrified, I have had suspicions that my dealer is not filling builds and prioritizing builds going to the lot) and he essentially said "Ford has 99'd all builds until they are converted" I signed with the order showing a 99. How do I know it will be converted to a proper code? I am super worried about this as I am statistically at the worst dealer in the country as far as allocations, they took the most orders out of all 3.4k Ford dealerships in the country. Is there any way I can confirm that I am not a 99? After my changes I can see my build correctly shown in the backdoor link with my reservation number, still in ordered / accepted / waiting to be schedule mode (for + 770 days).

I speculate that the priority works by first determining whether a dealer has an allocation and commodities allow the vehicle to be built then the 10-19 provides priority between the orders from a particular dealer. If the dealer only uses 19 then it is random which order get picked from that dealer. if a dealer uses only 10 then same thing. I think if the commodities are available and the dealer priority is a 12 versus an 18, the 12 gets built first.

A further note on knowing your priority is that I have called the Ford customer service number and they have told me what my priority code was. Typically they will confirm that my build is clean unscheduled priority code XX.

Mine was also not showing up in my order. I immediately contacted my salesman and told him if he could fix it and I had not wanted anything taken off or adjusted. He’s verified everything I wanted and called yesterday just to make sure he didn’t miss anything. Good to know. Thank you!

Request an updated DORA and call the Ford customer service line and see if they can confirm or deny your priority code 10-19.

Ford customer service confirmed that they've received my updated order - I can see my order changes on the back door link and the my order page once logged in. They've also confirmed that my order is priority code 99. The customer service agent on the phone was unwilling to tell me the status, but I got the info from someone on chat. They were unable to tell me how long my order has been at 99.

Has anyone who has updated their order (this is my second go-around at this) been able to confirm if their priority code has a build on it? Are all 2023 orders at 99 right now? My suspicions may be coming true here.

According to a couple folks here, the dealer has to make the change of priority. There was a post here about that very thing happening, and it updated Fords system quickly.

I just got done at the dealer. He told me that he was going through my 2022 order and noticed that the new order that Ford converted did not have Sasquatch. He caught it before I did. So, this is true. Looks like it might be dropping Sasquatch for lots of people.

This is going to be a huge issue if true and I am going to cause a shitstorm if so. I've had a feeling my order has been blacklisted for months and months after I raised my hand what is going on with how many broncos they had on the lot for sale way over MSRP at all times and yet I've nearly been waiting 800 days for any news on mine.

So. There appears to be an issue.
